I actually can't find myself within the trend of starting off softly, and don't share the need to be guided slowly into the song. It only tends to make the climax and the end bigger and that's nowadays too much of a focus of many artists and should stop. I think she had the perfect beginning volume and baseline in accordance with PTX background vocals. But we're all entitled to have our own opinions, especially when it comes to somethign as subjective as art. But I don't follow you here on this one.

This is now used as the theme song for the TV series “pulang araw”(red sun) also now on Netflix, the series is about the Japanese occupation in the Philippines and the song fits the series itself…the did add the subtitles to it now
