I first did this race over 50 years ago. Lovely camera-work which stirred my memories so powerfully. And as well as the views of the terrain, it is great to see that the people imvolved have the same Corinthian spirit that we had so long ago. Long may it remain so !

I can't find a Public Footpath Order relating to this change on Bolton's website- but the website is rubbish tbf and I might have missed it.

No it can’t deflate, I use a low pressure airbed pump for that or just roll the air out

Great video - I've run and hiked most of that course - but never in one go!! That's some undertaking!!!!. I was out hiking around Beddgelert that day with my collies. I saw a lot of runners, most looked completely cooked - it was really hot out there huge respect for getting it done in those conditions.

Great result!! I too did the 100k... Tough but twas a great race. How would you compare it to the Bob Graham round that you did?

Thanks, there are an extra 2000m of climbing on the BG. I had a rough day on the BG, felt sick for much of it. Had a great day on the UTS. There’s probably tougher terrain for more miles on the BG so I don’t think I could do 17 hours 24 on the Bob.
