Nothing fits better than how Lex wants to be like Superman, but his ego gets in the way. Nicholas Holt, while he doesn't seem to have an ego at all and seems like an awesome human being, auditioned for Superman because he loves the character so much, but instead they passed on him for that role, but cast him as Lex. Life imitating art. I bet he used that in his Lex portrayal, given how incredible of an actor he is. This trailer gave me chills. This is our first look at David as Superman, and it feels like we've already known him as Superman for ages. :)

I’ve never been super into DC but this looks amazing. I’m cautiously optimistic at what James Gunn will do with the DC universe. Also, I have 2 questions for you guys. Will you be reacting to Star Wars Skeleton Crew? And do you have a patreon for full watch alongs to the shows you react to.

OK so can anyone answer this? I don't mind a small spoiler if this information is known, but who is that guy in the black suit punching concrete if you pause @ about 2:19 ? (assuming it's the same guy Superman seems to be fighting against in the stadium as well). I could maybe imagine it's Lex Luthor in a 'super suit', maybe? Or has this villain been named already?

David Corenswet, the new Superman Actor, was the one who convinced James Gunn to add the trunks back because he believes Superman despite being an OP alien he wants to not be scary looking for the people or even children and the trunks will make him look goofy but at the same time a friendly superhero. Because of that, it sold me. This is the start of DCU so they added the other heroes but won't be much in screentime but just to introduce them but won't pull the focus away to Superman. Btw, the Yamcha pose made my conviction solid to watch this film lol.

Vision Quest is the 3rd part of this series trilogy that started with WandaVision. It starts filming sometime in 2025 for a release date before Avengers Doomsday. It's rumored that Wanda and her family will be a large part of that story. A variant of Agatha could be in Fantastic Four since that's where Agatha began in the comics as Reed's son's babysitter.

100% right out of the Silver Age comics. YES!!! I'm out here saving humans as I type this, because of this trailer. This is how you present Superman!! We have not had a comic accurate Superman on the big screen since 1980 (Superman 2 with Christopher Reeve). That's 44 years, very tragic for DC fans. Humans who don't read Superman comics, have no idea how he's supoosed to be, the movies have been messing him up, and it breaks my heart. The King, The Original Superhero, the Daddy of them all is finally here, and as a life long Superman fan, Terrance can't wait. TERRANCE OUT

The casting of a few characters has me worried big time. Corenswet pulls off Clark's look,but Superman? Im not sure. And its an epic fail for Lex. I wish they would stop making him so puny when he's not in the comics. And not since Donner have they gotten Lois right.

Loved everything about that teaser especially that stupid wig they have Nathan in to give him the bowl cut. It's such a relief to see so much colour in that teaser and it feeling like there's a lightness and feeling of hope in it. Superman should never feel bleak and dark which is one of the reasons I never liked the DCEU.

Christopher Reeve's portrayal of Clark and Kal-El set the gold standard for both to explain why people don't recognize either persona as the other. I am happy to see the nerdy awkward version come back, first with Tyler's subdued but effective take, and now this one. Henry made a fantastic Superman, but his Clark really was just Kal-El with glasses. Creature Commandos? Skeleton Crew?

Nicholas Hoult is a CRIMINALLY underrated actor.. His performance in Sand Castle is one of the most rugged yet real performances in a movie about war I’ve ever seen.. up their with the likes of Dunkirk and Saving Private Ryan.. it’s about the early days of Shock and Awe when America invaded Iraq.. very good movie if you would like to check it out
