Great loco to learn on. My first loco and has good visibility of gauges and regulator. Plenty of power for one trolley. So glad I bought mine.

Nigel will keep us informed as and when they will be open to visitors again. I think they were looking at planning event dates for next year now. We popped over to give them our support and found the railway busier than ever seen before! With the weather perfect, it was great for one and all! Martin

So how long until you get a drive then Mr Martin? At least it wasn't raining otherwise you would have been soaked in Bellerophon's nearly open cab! I agree with Mrs Kay, you've got to treat her to something similar for her Birthday now :-)

What diameter is the boiler and does it contain many fire tubes?
@5plankwagon9 жыл бұрын
ELPaso1990TX Thanks for the comment.Without sticking the tape measure on it I think the boiler is 5" diameter. A silver soldered copper boiler that has 25 tubes of approximately 3/8" bore. I always put the tube brush through them all to keep them clear after each steaming.

wooltman Hi Chris,Rode on the new section over the viaduct behind the Manor and in the D.M.U. Very nice! They have a run round up at Laverton. It will be brill when they get to Broadway. They were busy also laying bricks for a 2nd platform at Cheltenham and progressing nicely.Martin

Great! think I like this line better than the SVR. Are spings on the tender in case they need to change one on route,lol. Was the narrow gauge running? You must buy a spare SD card Martin.
@5plankwagon10 жыл бұрын
wooltman Maybe it was spring water sloshing around on the tender too. lol.I did think the track rode quite rough in places.The extension north to Laverton was much better. Got some film that way but it takes so long to upload everything. About 17hrs for this one (he sigh's).Narrow gauge only running at weekends unfortunately!.
