I appreciate high end audio equipment but OMA speaker designs seem to go against all accepted standards. I’ve heard their stuff at a few shows and it was not my cup of tea.

That turntable and arm is my holy grail. Hope sometime I wll be able to buy one. However, please demo equipment with the music that real people listen to. Every time I go to audio shows, most if not all demos feature music that almost nobody buys and listen to.

1st - there are other ways to overcome the iron related distortions! (check out PURIFY products and some others) 2nd - then please tell us why do you still use aluminium foil for VC carriers? (similar braking effect) speaker design is not easy :)

I've been into high end audio since the early 80s and I can tell you this: 1) ALL sound reproduction is subjective. 2) There is NO PERFECT SOUNDING SYSTEM! 3) No one ever touches the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY SPEND! There, saved you all millions of £/$/€ and your marriage/relationships etc............ 😑

Bonjour. Merci pour ce partage. Je m'adresse au responsable de la marque : Dire que son système est le meilleur et qu'il n'y a qu'une façon de réaliser de bonnes enceintes est prétentieux et absurde. D'autre part, dire que le bois est forcément un meilleur matériaux que d'autres est également idiot, d'autant plus que la comparaison est faite avec un instrument de musique. Hors on ne demande absolument pas la même chose à une enceinte accoustique qui doit rester inerte et neutre qu'à un instrument de musique qui doit avoir sa propre raisonnnance et sa coloration. Un système hifi ne doit pas avoir sa propre identité sonore mais il doit restituer l'identité sonore de la musique en se faisant oublier ... ce n'est pas la même chose. Par exemple, le plastique de qualité (même si cela n'est pas écologique) peut être un très bon matériau neutre, bien plus que certains bois.
