@@IDontKnow874Lol no u aren’t, it means that the bootloader image is gone and the android system is corrupted. This shows up because the phone tries to boot off linux, the kernel, but it can’t because it’s not designed to. Also, how will it eat the files that are gone? That’s just straight up misinformation.

If it’s a white screen, it’s easy to fix. Just wait two days or three days then it will go out but if it’s black screen, then the penguin name tux which is the maskgod of of Linux they are very hungry. They’re going to eat all of your data including Your privacy

It might be beacuse of a corrupt firmware or maybe a video driver issue beacuse no matter how broken your GPU driver is, the penguin will always show up

Broken integrated GPU would show only lines on your screen. Broken CPU IC would show tv-like noise on your screen. These two problems are unfixable unless you'd replace the transistors inside the CPU which are difficult and have very high risks of failing.

For people who don't know: it's a very critical error for phone cause it means corrupted bios or bootloader for Android phones. You may be asking why linux penguin. It because of android phone work via Linux cores. Btw luckily it's possible to solve this error difficult, but possible.

Not very critical sometimes it's just your splash corrupted / you try to run fastboot erase splash (this is the first image display when you turn on your phone then it show second which it's from android /system/product/media this is where your boot animation may differ on other version) you could just try reflashing the splash.img file Linux core doesn't mean its core until the bootloader isn't Linux it is using only Linux kernel which you can run some basic Linux command like CD ls etc. except other distro command like apt snap etc for a/b devices aka seamless update there is 2 Linux kernel 1 for a and one for b in the boot.img(It's not the same as system but it is important) if not ab devices then there's only because they had built in recovery partition idk why they choose Linux for it but yeah it's not a critical error likely it's just splash bugs if it critical it may just show black(bricked device is worker than this or if you try to run fastboot erase abl it is more worst)
