@ I had a VW type 3 - air cooled engine - but leaky fuel injectors. Was a maintenance nightmare.

@@PatMuttart I like the early air cooled Porsche engines - I use to love the sound of the early 911’s & 912’s. However, the insurance on them in the 1970’s was horrible.

I drive a Chevy Truck.. I would drive one of these to work I just don't own one, besides I can't chase a thunderstorm in one, let alone many of the other aspects of my life where I need truck. These things are heavy and the battery issues a-side if they would make this in a 5.7L or even a 4.1L you might sell the look and other elements minus only the EV powerplant. But this is not about making a WORK truck, what they set out to do was make a Super Car, that can take you to and from work say 275-375 miles in a week. That said, once you are home you can drive your Gas Powered truck to do the camping, hunting and fishing places off the way or even a road trip across Arkansas on I-40 where you can only charge in NLR at a hotel.. Sure the fuel matters. But a cybertruck takes you to your desination, in autopilot you can have a the largest stress of your day removed - great idea. Just not made for those of us who need them..Otherwise it would be cheaper.
