I got mine months ago and had problems with the helmet on the 1st day of getting it. Backpack worked but after 6 months into it it wont chrage the battery at all. Im very disappointed in Vata and dont waste your hard money on this Crap. I retired my helmet cause of the wind noise coming in from the top where the turn signal is which prevents my visor from closing to the seal.

One of my worst investment i purchase (helmet and backpack) helmet came with Defects (talked with customer service and no Help at all), backpack worked fine the 1st couple Months until it completely died on me which it won't charge the backpack to make the taillights turn on or to charge other devices through the USB(unless i wiggle the right strap on an angle.

I received the helmet and installed the controller module on my Road Glide. Everything works the way it should. Currently, the helmet ships with mic and earphones installed, but you have to purchase a Midland unit separately. I purchased and installed it, and it works well, in fact, I get better sound from it than my Sena and Cardo units but I suspect that’s just positioning. This is maybe a $1,300 proposition all tolled if you have a dealer install the controller unit, so fairly expensive. But it works.

One thing I've noticed no one bothers the mention about this helmet is the actual fitment. Is this more of a round or more of an oval shaped helmet? Are there any changeable pads for it to further help adjust it to further the fit correctly?

Thanks for the video, the helmet looks extremely nice overall. However, I wish the brake LED light would be larger than just a line strip as it is harder for the drivers following behind to see when it lights up during a bright sunny day. I would love if they have the brake light LED as large as the one on “Brake Free”, a clip-on helmet LED light system with accelerometer circuitry.

We appreciate your channel’s truth. This newest offering poses an interesting perspective. Arai is a legendary helmet maker without compromise. I’ve been super impressed with my Brake Free device affixed to the back of my Shoei RF1400. Shoei a brand with a long track record of performance. The Brake Free device is brilliant. Brake Free has been around long enough now to have been field test proven, not be a gimmick.

Wish it would've been a production example. This version is not relevant. Let's evaluate a real version that we all can purchase.

I bought 2 10S dual packs, both new. The documentation was in many languages, but not English. I got the devices to power on, and they receive static PERFECTLY. That's it. The web site was no help. I repeatedly tried to contact support. They are apparently unable to communicate in English. I tried emailing support. No response. I did reach them through social media. They referred me to their web site, and sent me documentation that has no bearing on the 10S. Supposedly, these come pre-paired. These did not. Even the radio won't turn on. These were purchased through different dealers on different dates. Among the items missing from the box are the adhesive pads and the wrench. The speakers will not stick to my helmets. Worse yet, the clips do not hold the units in place. Even when clipped into place, they fall out with a gentle shake of the helmet. This isn't just one. All 4 exhibit these issues. Wednesday will be 2 weeks I've been trying to get support from sena. I am forced to return these expensive paperweights.

Are service/center stands not a thing anymore? Wait... the bike they're demonstrating on has a service stand clearly visible... Seems rather superfluous to me.

I would not recommend the Sena 10S or 10R. The seekers did not fit well in my helmet even though I did some removal of the foam inside. It was also to quiet even on a bike that blocks most of the wind noise. The connection is not good to the mount and the wind or closing the face shield will make it malfunction like you were pressing one of the buttons. I could also not get the intercom to work with any of my buddies that have Senas too. It does connect to my iPhone well and even though taking calls sounds bad from the speakers, I have been told, I sound good on the highway.
