From what I remember I think the four black holders either just screw off or there was a sticker or some time of cover that you have to pry off to get to the screws underneath

@@danh2134 What symptoms were you having to know that you needed to replace the abs actuator? I have '14 scion tc / manual trans, I think it's the same model as the 2011 (aren't they both tC2's?). Incredibly odd issue. Whenever I turn on the a/c the ABS, Brake and traction warning indicators turn on until I turn the a/c back off. There are no codes. The speedometer will also drop for half a second or so. I found some people w/ 07-09 camry model having same issue, which most claimed was the abs actuator not securely connected to the connectors. They were able to 'fix' the issue with zip-ties and a rubber separator, which kept the a/c power line from getting too close the abs power line (I think?). But I'm not sure if the abs actuator is the same as the abs sensor (do you know?) - I haven't been able to locate where it is under the hood to at least take a peak and attempt to clean or make a better connection. I guess I'm just trying to figure out where to start before I even consider bringing it to a mechanic because I'm sure they'll milk the shit out of this - and I just replaced the transmission.
