I've done a few lifts over the years but having a video like this is extremely helpful for reference

100% NEVER reuse lower ball joint hardware. Toyota has already said they’re known to stretch and recommend replacing if removed. Way to compromise the structural integrity of an already flawed design

I installed this on mine but the cv shaft boots kept popping off and leaking my grease out. I ended up buying high articulating cv shafts. What can i do to relax the high angles of the lift? Kryptonite tie rods or extended vertical bar or ?

Did you need new longer sway bar links? Did this affect turn radius? Have these held up without issue since install?

My 2 inch level is chewing threw my cv boots. Hopefully this a fix
I read that this could change ride quality by lengthening (possibly shortening) the shock. Are there any shocks you would recommend to resolve this issue? Or What length to search for? Would longer coils be a suitable solution over a spacer?
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits5 ай бұрын
A longer coil achieves the same goal as a spacer on an OE coil.
@aaronwalsh7765 ай бұрын
Do you still need the isolators? I seen you put it on the front but not the rear. So does it go on all just the front or none?

We have front and rear spacers available. The coil will rest directly on the spacer.

Would Rancho RS55289 be ok for front 3" lift. It says on rock autos 4" but would that be it's limit. 21.41" and 13.88 compressed. Thanks for you video
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits5 ай бұрын
The front ProComp, #917552B, has an extended length: 17.55 inches and a collapsed length: 11.05 inches which work well with our lift. The Rancho's might be too long.

Good video, but there is one point. When installing a spacer under the spring, be sure to lengthen the bump stop. Since one day, with a strong impact on the suspension, the coils of the spring will meet, that is, the coils will hit each other, which can lead to breakage of the spring. Greetings from Ukraine.
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits5 ай бұрын
Thank you, that is a good point. Not all customers will fully compress the suspension, but the added safety net is a good idea. There are plenty of resources out there for bump stop extensions.

We do not have an exact number, the initial testing was not done using one of those break point machines. We have tested the product the old fashioned way. The most telling test was a tug-o-war between an F350 and a Ram 3500. No issues.

Why is that? The ability and training is there for working on trucks, maybe at the time we needed to work on our lighting, but that has since been rectified. The quality of our video's has gone up a lot over the years.
@scottysgarage43939 ай бұрын
Does the lift kit require popping the top ball joint? Or is this truck unusual in some way? Because the struts on these trucks usually come out easily without taking anything off.
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits9 ай бұрын
Nothing special with the ball joint, it is a fairly easy process wit this kit.
@Rideoutlife9 ай бұрын
Dont buy. They arent telling you that youll need a $250 open ended torque wrench to actually tighten the strut bolts. They state it on the video but as you can see, theyre not using an open ended torque wrench, theyre using a regular open ended wrench.
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits9 ай бұрын
A professional shop should have all necessary tools for the installation. Also, you might be able to find the right tool to rent from a parts store. Still definitely worth buying.
