My husband and I were together for 15 years; we divorced 2 1/2 years ago. We have not spoken once or crossed paths during this time. He has dated a woman who rented a home from us for 2 1/2 years. While they claim no infidelity, I was so shocked when I saw their picture on social media a few weeks after our divorce was final. I have no way of proving it. I own a business, and it was stressful, and I worked a lot. We had gone through battling cancer with him for nine years, and he was finally put on his one-year check-up. God had answered our prayers when he left because he said he couldn't live this way anymore. The intimacy had become a less focal point for me, and survival was the point I had reached. I was exhausted. I was exhausted and could not seem to get my energy back, and I began to feel more depressed. We had gone through three different surgeries with him, and through everything, we had a massive, very costly remodeling project at our home; I lost my father, whom I worked with for 35 years. I never missed a work day because the business had to keep going, except when I cared for him. I was tired, and all I wanted was for him to hug me and say you're doing great, honey. Let's take a day and do something fun. I know you have to be tired! I have since gotten on hormone therapy and been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I told him the day he left me that something wasn't right with me and that I did not feel good. I needed him to help me this time! Instead he tried to take part of the family business but he didn't get it. I gave him (not ordered by the judge) but everything he asked for. I had to re-finance our home to pay him, but I wanted him to see how much his happiness meant to me. I see him with her on social media, hugging her and doing things with her I always prayed he would do with me. He hated for me to have social media. I have prayed for God to bring him home with a different heart toward me. But I don't think he will ever come back. Please pray for our marriage to be restored. I know God can do things we as humans think are impossible. I love him, and I wasn't perfect, but I tried so hard. I did put work and family at times ahead of him, but going to MD Anderson ans the travel alone waa so expensive and all that burden was on me. He has no idea what all that cost. I always handled everything.

This is a Pro-Life interpretation of John 4 and the woman at the well, It is based on the Total Depravity theology of Calvanism which assumes the depravity of Eve without the mitigation of the Cross It essentailly emerges from the misogyny displayed by Peter,, It's not what is actually happening between Jesus and the woman, The glaring error is that Jesus endorses the lifesyle of the woman and makes her pregnamt as is her desire that brought her out to the well in the first place It’s like the difference between the Pro-Life and Pro-Choice version of the woman at the well. The Pro-Life version basically depicts her as a whore and community outcast and ashamed of her status, which is why she has come to the well at high noon, Jesus and John Mark are resting in the shade of the oasis when this woman slinks to the well and begins to draw watter from 100 feet down. She just wants to get her jar filled and slink back into her hovel. What happens instead is that Jesus finds an opportunity to jump into this woman’s shit about her life style and set on the straight and narrow, which works so well, the entie village comes out to see and touch the Messiah, That’s the Pro-Life version, The imporant thing the get exactly correct is that the entire village comes out to see and touch the Meddiah. That’s the way thied do things in both the Pro-Life and Pro-Choice version of the Gospels. However, the Pro-Choice version describes a demonstation of the method the Holy Spirit employed to get Mary in a family way, This woman is not part of the Jerusalem congregation although she is bound to the Torah, culturally. Once a year, they choose up sides and go up on facing mountains and shout blessings and curses at each other, then head back down to the pubs for a sing-song. Shw was practiciing polyandry, that is, she has many different baby daddies. In her society, children are a woman’s social security, Family values. The babies were more imporant than the man, She had chidren from 5 men and she was ready to get a bun in th oven but the guy she working with isn’t delivering, So, she’s come to the well to get her vessel filled. Apparently, that was something of a universal signal of sexual availability. What happens next is a flirtation from her point of view. She’s sassy as hell and doesn’t give an inch the whole time they are together, She’s not ashamed of shit. This is the Med: imgage her as Gina Lolabridgada. Scrumpcious. She’s on a mission, Like Tama dealing with the niggardly pretentions of Judah. Long story short, He makes her pregnant in the same manner the Holy Spirit conceived Jesus with the Virgin Mary: they both employed the Spirit of God (Gen 1:2). My experience has been that women who have had children are aware of when they are most fertile and the moment of conception, They can feel it. This woman fest the conception Jesus compelled the Spirit of God to execute. No sex. Jesus died a virgin, This is a Pro-Choice woman, She’s a valued member of the community which is revealed by the fact that she barele has time to run back and alert her security regarding the MEssiah than the whole fucking village converges on the well like a field of ripe poppies. The Point is, Pro-LIfe is a Project 2025 socia construct. Pro-Choice is the rest of the world committed the DEI social contract of the Declaration of Independence I mean, how can you take a Pro-Life woman seriously?

The Jews traveled around not because they did not need to go through Samaria but because they hated them. The traveling around was actually a longer trip for them to make. They had to cross the river twice to get to where they were going. Jesus just took the short route, the straight route.

This revelation came to me today, as I devoted myself to the study of John 4. Praise the Lord, all glory to our Living God. I had such a misunderstanding, being taught she was presumably a promiscuous whore. This aligns well with our Lord and who He is, who He stands for. My God is a God of compassion and empathy unlike any other. Also brothers and sisters, I confess, on such a beautiful day of revelation, I fell to sexual sin. I made provision for social media and knowing the risk, I didn't run. Pray for me. No condemnation in Christ but pray that I may kill sin and prevent provisions to be made for the enemy. ❤

I pray that God will heal & restore my relationship with Mads...we had a wonderful 6yrs & I knew God orchestrated it from the day we met...it's not cheating or falling out of love nor he got astray...he suddenly just got discouraged about closing the distance between us when God is finally paving the way for us now to be together soon. He is forcing himself to unlove me for since January this year. 😔 I pray that God will open his eyes to see, & open his ears to listen to God's words, not to lean on his own understanding & plans...for him to believe that God's plans & timing is way better than we have. In Jesus' name I ask. Amen.

So i like all you have said ? I think from one of my own reverlations from this passage in JOHN 4 1- 42 IS VERY SIMPLE ALL WOMEN ARE AS SPIRITUALLY IMPORTANT AND EQUELL TO ALL MEN ? JESUS is offering the holy spirit to her as hIs gift to all the women of the future ! That is his direct message to all the women pagan jew Christian Muslim any and all women are of the exact same spirit of GOD JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT ! Just the same as all of us men or women are also made in his image and therefore no less divine or equal as any man or woman or of all women and all men ? We in the west have only just began to realise this in law and in religious practices ! Only a few decades at most separate us from these now obvious truths first spoken of two thousand years ago by The Son Of Man or indeed by the SON OF GOD ? Iam not reading between the lines I am just speaking a truth that came to me mid mediation and so startled was Ithat I have been thinking on this subject almost no stop for months now ? If something so moves you as to shake you to your very core I think in might be worth repeating !

Yes! She could not divorce anyone. Her husbands did that to her. Perhaps because of infertility. Or, She may not have been divorced all those times. What if she was a widow? Why would a good upstanding Samaritan man in middle eastern culture marry a woman if she was so unfit as a wife as to have been divorced by her husbands that many times? Women were married young to older men. In that culture, a near relative had to take care of the widows. What if the man she was living with was a relative forced to take care of her? So in that context, she likely felt rejection and abandoned. He addressed her son -Yes! But maybe not sexual sins.

A person must be “baptized” to be saved, but it has nothing to do with water. The proof is found below. Old Covenant Baptism vs. New Covenant Baptism (water vs. Spirit) Water baptism was a part of the Old Covenant system of ritual washing. The Old Covenant priests had to wash before beginning their service in the temple. (Ex. 30:17-30) When Christ was water baptized by His cousin John in the Jordan River, He was under the Old Covenant system. He also only ate certain foods, and wore certain clothes, as prescribed by the 613 Old Covenant laws. Christ was water baptized by John and then the Holy Spirit came from heaven. (Acts 10:38) The order is reversed in the New Covenant. A person receives the Holy Spirit upon conversion, and then believers often declare their conversion to their friends and family through a water baptism ceremony. Which baptism makes you a member of Christ’s Church? The New Covenant conversion process is described below. (Born-again) Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (A person must “hear” the Gospel, and “believe” the Gospel, and will then be “sealed” with the Holy Spirit.) Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (See Jer. 31:34 for the New Covenant promise, and 1 John 2:27 for the fulfillment) ============ Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says? What did Peter say below? Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 1:5, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water/ every time they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage? Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (See 1 Cor. 12:13) “baptize” KJV Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Water or Holy Spirit?, See Eph. 1-13.) Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. Act 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Act 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. 1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (See Eph. 4:1-5) Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. (Old Covenant ----> New Covenant)

I hope you respond to my genuine question. In the same vein of “what does the text actually say”, what verse says she became a converted believer? “Could this be the Christ” in 4:29 is close but not the same as a confession of Jesus being messiah or conversion. She is impressed by the novelty of Jesus telling her history. Your comments on verse 25 say “she recognizes the Messiah is coming and there is a hunger and a thirst for that -She’s thirsty”. It doesn’t say that. You put on your glasses Anyways, I’m not trying to come across as rude but my question is: where in the text does it say she’s a believer?

Television has brain washed everyone, Of an image of marriage that really is not realistic. I think this is a lot of the beginning of the problem with all marriages. Life isn’t TV and we have all been exposed to this Hollywood idea our entire life. We believe what we have all seen on tv and this has become the expectation of all Americans. When reality hits , they can’t deal with it. Every doesn’t function like the fictional roles we have idealized and come to expect.

My authority is definitely the original Hebrew and Greek of the scriptures. I was a Baptist Pastor and missionary and I am gay, medically proven during electronic shock therapy, as part of 13 years of reparative therapy. It was highly abusive. That Dr who organized it was President of the Baptist Union at the time. Then I learned the entire medical profession declassified homosexuality as an illness 51 years ago. I was NOT happy. eg Gen 19 refers to the "men" of Sodom. The Hebrew is enowsh and that same word has been translated as "people" in many many places. eg Ex 10:7 "Let the people go" Same word. It is perfectly acceptable to translate "All the people of Sodom...where are the people?" There are many many other similar verses. I believe what the church claims the scriptures say against homosexuality is political, NOT theological. I have been told I am not welcome to even attend a Baptist church because I am gay. I was married to my accepting wife for 51 years and cared for her with MS for 26 years before she passed. God creates some people gay, as I have been, and it is absolutely fine. I strongly accept gay marriage as 77.5% of Australians have done as in the Marriage Equality survey in 2017.
