@@jazenism Alright it keeps blocking my comment lol but basically the message was "Axis and action mappings are now deprecated, please use enhanced input actions and input mapping contexts instead" and it links to a document online about it. I believe its the same thing, just a different method.

Note: Game Exporter is available as an automatically loaded plug-in in Maya. If you need to load the tool manually, for example if you don't see Game Exporter listed in the File menu, load the gameFbxExporter plug-in using the Plug-in Manager (Windows > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager). thanks

As far as I can tell only the 2d artists are shunning AI and almost all 3d artists are embracing it.
@jazenism2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. As an artist myself, I can totally understand the anxiety, perhaps even anger. I can see a way through this though, that leads to further creativity. Let's see where it goes eh! In the meantime, have some fun
@IvanTeslenko2 жыл бұрын
I guess that's due to the fact that AI can't create 3D models just yet, so 3D artists don't feel threatened.
@froztbytes2 жыл бұрын
@@IvanTeslenko Not really, if AI started making 3D models today 3d artists would embrace it too and use it as a tool to speed up their workflow.
@IvanTeslenko2 жыл бұрын
@@froztbytes you don't know that. 3D artists are not some "special kind of people". They are the same as 2D artists. AI just hasn't come to replace them yet.
@froztbytes2 жыл бұрын
@@IvanTeslenko I AM a 3d artist. Here's a little fun fact for you: Most of us don't give a rat's ass about how things are made, If we can automate anything in our workflow, we fucking will. Unlike 2D artists, we aren't attached to our creation process, what we care about most are our outputs.

How would to make the animation look 3 dimensional when you set up the lighting and shading? The only way i could think of is setting up a bump node with different image textures animation set at different stage. Eg: color animation, black and white animation, reverse black and white, shaded animation, contrasted animation. Etc.. I also thought of weight paint and subdivision of the panels. But I'm not entirely sure if that would work.
@jazenism2 жыл бұрын
Yes you could try a Normal Map on top! Try it and see if it works - worth a look!
