Enjoying this ship however it would be great if you put together some sort of upgrade guide. Better still install LCD's of where to put things. Are you able to upload a version of this that has been upgraded to 4 Quantum's with a shield and weapon configuration for taking on Legacy? Or do you have this on your discord?

Hi Artemis. I tried the Ballantide and The Arcadian and these are fighting beasts. They can take massive damage and still fly and fight. I've never played a better combat ship. These ships are amazing. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing it with us.

Why would 16 Medium Plasma prevent me from using 16 Medium Modulated turrets? Why would they compel me to use EMP turrets? And why is this not an issue with 8 Heavy Plasma? Forgive me, I am new to RE2's weapons.

The new AI is mad, they seem to go for the heavy fixed weapons and ignore decoys etc

The Devastator part is odd. I had such tame ships in my testings too. But then I had some firing like mad. The problem with the last one is not the damage but that the mass of beams will take out your cannons & Turrets pretty fast hitting the opening even using the usual armour block tricks You can win even with a good core 7 but honestly the damage cost is to high. Here faster killing as tanking is the key which is hard because the 2 cores of it in Re2. If you find a good trick to overcome that with lower CPU ships then let us know 😊

Why do you have the 3 plasma cannons installed backwards? Are they just there as dummies to draw fire or am I missing something?

I was a little flustered when Cobalt was added to SV drills but 9 is still low enough to get this so early. I love Oni V2. I start over alot. I like to play 1 death. and I always use the Oni v2

Because medium weapons require Large kits and most new players don't know where to get them, it's an entry-level ship.

Hi, Artemis, you build great combat ships. I got heavy damage on the Shippo 2, only half of the hull remained and I flew it back to base under its own power, saving everything that was in all the containers. Now I fly the Sovereign and I really like it, but I noticed the Arcadian, I'm not sure if it makes sense to switch to it. I think I'll still build the Arcadian and test it. But still, in your opinion, which ship is better, the Sovereign (with 17 core) or the Arcadian?

Modulated Turrets are pretty easy to get. Level to L25. Get a mediocre CV. Get a tonne of palladium by mining on any DEAD Xirax planet. Build turrets … then blast away. :)

What type modulated lasers are better to use?

I Use 75% X-ray, 25% Visible. For Both Short and Long range.

Because it's twice as heavy. I do still use combat steel in select spots where appropriate. Xeno isn't hard to get, nor is it time consuming, so there's no good reason NOT to use it in end-game designs.

Looking forward to when you put this tank on the workshop. I'd love to use it! I've run through a few new games with the Sherpa > Oni > Omni > X3 XCavator with the Dynamo making an appearance when I need more wood. Working towards zero death playthroughs for giggles.

You can use F4 to access quantum boxes instead of using P menu. It's much faster.

i wish they would update the UI, shit is so ugly and has been there for years, if they just an entire overhaul of the UI i would get back into the game, the audio too, i mean, anything would help, i love the game but damn im tired of those two things so much that it keeps me from playing

I like your use of the drone for scouting and resource acquisition. I feel like I learned a lot by watching you play. I also use the Oni V2 and Omni V2 a lot so thank you for those as well!

Yeah once you learn to use your drone for stuff, you really become a lot more capable. Also, using hand tools uses stamina from your character, which increases food consumption, using hand tools via drone uses no stamina. Glad to hear it! have fun.

I dunno.. What do they do really? They turn off the ship automatically I think. Not sure what else they do. Ive never used them, don't see the point. If they do something special let me know.
