I like the way you clearly distinguished between the Agile team coach and the Enterprise agile coach. I can't find the link to Gary's guide on agile coach roles and responsibilities. Is it in the Description box?

I need your assistance Dr. I plan to write the certifications ICP-ACC and the ICP-BAF. But wanted to know your take on these before I venture into these happy to drop me email contact

Hi @adeyanjuadeoba83 Sorry for late response as I was travelling and offline for a month. Taking a sabbatical, you know! To answer your question, the two certs you mentioned are focused on two different aspects of the transformation. We offer both these certifications. BAF is focused more on the business side of the house while ACC is focused more on the (development) teams and coaching them through agile landscape. Hope this helps. I will be happy to jump on a quick call if you want to discuss it further. Thanks

Hello Sir, I've done the CSM and Leading SAFe and want to move on to the "Agile Coaching" track. Can I go for ICP-ACC and not for ICP-ATF? Any other certifications that would help better?
@AgileCoachingToolbox
@AgileCoachingToolbox Жыл бұрын
Yes, ICP-ACC would help you move into agile coaching track. ATF is primarily for Facilitation.

What's the purpose of meeting with stakeholders? Should I have an additional meeting with RTE in SAFe, if we have Scrum of Scrums often?
@AgileCoachingToolbox
@AgileCoachingToolbox Жыл бұрын
In essence, you are working for the stakeholders! So, it is important to meet them on a regular basis. This also helps in building trust with them. I would expect most of the heavy lifting here to be done by your Product Owner. Being a 'partner in crime', you (scrum master) should be there to help and lean on each other.
@AgileCoachingToolbox
@AgileCoachingToolbox Жыл бұрын
Yes, I would meet with RTE. In fact, h/she should be the one wanting to meet with you before each of the PI planning. If you already have SoS happening, you could use that platform and meet with RTE on regular cadence.

Thank you for this insightful video. I have a quick question though, when you take yourself off camera, do you need to turn it on before asking the next developer to give their status? And how do you drive the conversation if you’re on mute?
@AgileCoachingToolbox
@AgileCoachingToolbox 2 жыл бұрын
Why not leave the video on all the time, for all the participants at the Daily Scrum? Yes, I would ask everyone to be on Mute except the one who is talking. But, I encourage everyone to be on the camera. That allows you to 'read' what's not being said. Pay attention to the body language, expressions on their face. There is a lot more communication happening in non-verbal fashion that you loose if they are not on the camera. So, my recommendation, keep the video on all the time, for every team member :-)

Dear Sir, Which one should I go for? Scrum Alliance or ICA. I am confused because earlier I have CSM which is due for renewal. Which body is best if I want to go for agile coaching path. Please suggest.
@AgileCoachingToolbox
@AgileCoachingToolbox 2 жыл бұрын
It DEPENDS! Both the tracks are good and has their own strengths. If you want to get to it quickly, I would recommend doing ICAgile certifications focused on the Agile Coaching track (Agile Team Facilitation ICP-ATF, Agile Coaching Cert ICP-ACC, and then Expert Agile Coach ICE-AC). Scrum Alliance offerings take time to go through and get to CTC or CEC. Above all, your focus should be not on the certifications themselves, but, rather on learning the ropes of agile coaching. And, that takes time, dong it, experimenting, and exploring. If you are interested in learning the ins and outs of agile coaching, and get certifications along the way, then reach out to me :-) Hope this helps!
