There is a shorter way to say that you didn't enjoy it, but you're watching random reels and commenting on them, probably you're not a big fan of saving time. Let's do it your way then! Yes, there is "stand-up" in the name of the video.
@ottomanstamper76092 ай бұрын
My Turkish friend sent me this to watch. I've only watched half of it but I don't know if I can watch the rest; the guy is really not funny! He also seems to not be aware of what is real in the world. Claiming that there aren't Nazis in Ukraine is wierd considering even the US, UK and other countries that support Ukraine used to put out articles that showed Nazis in Ukraine! Is this guy aware that Bandera is a national hero in Ukraine?
@smirnovstandup2 ай бұрын
Thanks for all the info, I'm happy to finally open my eyes! Let's plan my future then! Should I stop doing comedy and start just believing in things you said?
@ottomanstamper76092 ай бұрын
@@smirnovstandup Regarding your future in comedy, it's your life and your choice. If you find there are enough people who find you funny (or laugh because they want to believe the US propaganda) to make a living and you enjoy what you are doing then no need to change. Regarding the Nazis, do you really believe that there are none in Ukraine? I know comedians will sometimes say things that are not true for comedic effect but personally I think it best with serious issues like wars to stick to truth. Unfortunately many Ukrainians are dying needlessly in a war that needn't have happened, if the US had dealt honestly with both Ukraine and Russia. The NATO membership was always just a ploy to get Ukraine to waste their citizens in a war the US was well aware was impossible to win. If you really are unaware of the Nazis in Ukraine, I can send you numerous links with evidence.
@smirnovstandup2 ай бұрын
@ottomanstamper7609 jokes aside, of course there are. And in Russia and in Italy and everywhere. None of them though worth a war, even the smallest one. However specifically this "nazis presence" was claimed as the main reason to start the war. Then they changed it a dozen times, but anyway. If we go deeper into this bullshit they've been saying the last three years, those nazis were dangerous for russians in Donetsk, etc. Even if it is true, there are ways to actually help people there if you want to treat them as "our russians". These jokes are about the ridiculous basis of this war exclusively, and "but there are nazis in Ukraine" comments appear from time to time but still look like cherry picking
@ottomanstamper76092 ай бұрын
@@smirnovstandup Sure they are in many countries ( where they are subject to prosecution) but in Ukraine they have power; they are considered elite forces and are the best equiped. Most of the ones that used to be in Russia left to fight alongside the Ukrainians. While you say "not worth a war"; what was Putin supposed to do allow them to continue to murder civilians in the Donbas? He tried to resolve it diplomatically (Minsk) but the Western allies admitted they were just stringing Russia along to buy time to arm Ukraine, they had no intention of ever implementing it. Naturally the West says that he was just using that as an excuse and his real intention is to conquer Ukraine then move on to Poland, germany etc., surely you don't believe that narrative? Putin wants to do business with Europe he doesn't want war with them; he felt he had no choice!
@smirnovstandup2 ай бұрын
Let's go point by point. You're mentioning Azov specifically, I presume. First, estimated 2500 members in 2017 and 900 in 2022. Good threat for a 140-million country. They went back to Ukraine when the war started? Well, sure. Russia attacked their country. Next: what putin was supposed to do? Leave his position of president years before that. Around occupation of Crimea tops. Don't care about your resources about his ideas or "murdering civilians" numerous military people confirmed that they were the ones who initiated all these Donetsk things. One of them by the way is in jail for criticizing the way the war is handled. Did Azov commit any crimes? Not their business at all, bring the officials in if you're so concerned. Let them prosecute those in charge. Did he try to resolve anything peacefully or that's what you read? Based on the amount of times you've brought up the USA, you probably just have different sources and for some reasons yours are better. Fine. But I am from the place where putin was in charge for too long. Did he lie? Oh, a lot. Was he caught on that? Dozens of times. So I'm not sure even without any sources. And "he didn't have a choice" is just...okay, cool. Read the second part of your comment. He does sound like a child in your own comment. People came from there, from there, doing that and that. And he was just tricked and lost. What a leader. No, he wouldn't go to Poland or anywhere else, because apparently he did let the whole military system rot and rust while he was told that everything is good as new. Almost 1000 days of war, obviously he is incapable of anything but dirty tricks. You see, we have a problem here. I am from there and I saw this circus he made out of a country for a long time. If the country is so great why do many places not have gas (in russia!) and toilets inside of a building. Why people cannot get an ambulance in some places because roads just don't exist. Maybe before Crimea there were more people of the nation you lead who needed your help, because that's where it all started.

Hey great stuff man, the joke’s real good, it’s just that the delivery seems a bit… off? Not meaning to upset you obviously, just some genuine criticism - the joke is awesome, but the delivery seems a bit way too awkward, almost as if you’re not confident in yourself - obviously that might be a part of your style, which you shouldn’t loose and end up like everyone else, but definitely try easing up a bit. It feels like the stage isn’t yours, which it totally is, I’ve seen tons of standup comedians with jokes 100 times less funny, yet they’re sure they’re the funniest people on earth. The punchline is funny, but I presume as an American I'm missing something. Never heard of levels of languages before, much less their designations. Is that how they designate how well someone speaks? Is that levels of classes?
@smirnovstandup Жыл бұрын
Well, it's "proficiency". Listening, speaking, writing, reading skills. A1-A2 are the most basic, B1-B2 are enough for most situations and C1-C2 are "skill is mastered". For example, if a job requires two languages and one of them is not your native, they can ask you for a certificate. Same for citizenship. The most common tests for English are IELTS and TOEFL. And thanks! 😂
