went to grand bazaar today, Marmaris, not expecting alot, but at least ok standard with all the great reviews, it was run down, young sales guys ‘friendly’ and even if you tell them you not interested they still get you in, to show what they have, and when they should of left you first time, and you still show no interest, can get a negative vibe and even aggressive. In shop selling just clothes, like tshirts, man got me to enter his shop, telling me to check his ‘quality’ (all counterfeit) clothes, told him right at first encounter I had no interest of buying any tshirts or clothes and asked if shop had toilet, he ‘happily’ opened toilet door for me, I thanked him, on exit, he tried to get me look at more clothes, but told him again, not interested, and as I walked out, he told me to come back and showed me the toilet door, which had the sign ‘500lira for use of toilet’ l refused to pay telling him he should of warned me of charge , he replied that he would call the police. I told him to! And then exited, to which he tried to get the sales young men in the other stores to stop me leaving, but they just looked and never approached me. Awful experience. Do not go!

Hated everything about this hotel. Kids pool with slide was only open for 10mins. Food wasn’t always available when it said theres always something available including snacks. Had to keep asking for room service or else rooms won’t be getting cleaned, argued at arrival as they put us in wrong rooms. Entertainment is going until really late and starting really early and can hear it non stop- really loud! No peace and quiet. If you have young kids and put them in bed decent time then don’t bother coming here. We also had ants on our beds and in room

Enjoy your life! if that means you go see animals from a van or have water fights, do stunts and visit a bunch of local villages and whatnot so be it. Each to their own, this time we chose great fun.

Hey good video i have 2 kids 5 and 7 and going to bring them to butlins 2024 but unsure where to stop Seaside apartments or fairground apartments what would you recommend? Thank you :)

Thanks! hope you enjoy, we are going agin in March also! I have stayed in all of the different apartments. If you want to be close, Standard are right near the action, but they are basic. Seaside apartments are the ''poshest'' and still close but i found the cleaning team on them not as great. Then you have the Fairground that are quite far away but are clean and tidy. The Seaside apartment in this video was 20 second walk from the main stage and food hall.

Awful empty town the spirit ripped out of it by the planners. Shouldn't have built the retail shopping centre near and encouraged all stores to the main street with attractive rates and rentals. Real shame...

Nice camera movement. Darker scenes are a bit flashy but for a wedding video thats not really a problem. Music is really nice

We raise 2 little boys here. Id say its a gpod place to do so, plenty of free public parks, alot of payed activities and events, river, countryside close by, beach close by, iving costs are relatively cheap. It has its problems but you can mitigate and limit them by being a good person and making sure the children are not straying. Im probably biast as iv always lived here though :p i keep meaning to make a new video covers all the things around here because there are alot!

I went there a week ago and the musk was most annoying but the chefs that start big fires are good 👍🏼 who met that guy called Jay who does the accents I think his best one was the scouse

I quite enjoyed it too, there where a few Muslim family's around but not many. If you time it correctly the turkish people fill the hotels over paticular times. I'm assuming at them times there will be alot more muslim tourists at the hotels here

We were staying at this hotel in may 2022 and found everything brilliant the rooms the food and all the staff, I have to have gluten free food and every time we went to the dining room it was pointed out to me where the gluten free food was and our young grandson was with us and one of the waiters would take our grandson up to the snack bar and get him ice cream and orange juice and that same waiter when he was passing our table if he saw my drink was getting to the bottom of the glass he would go away and get me another as I said everything was brilliant I could not fault the hotel or the staff and the entertainment team were great.

Hi! The vast majority are the same quality as far as I can tell. There are a few shops across the area that are terrible looking though. I actualy have finished a second visit to the grand bazaar last week, I also filmed and got some close up shots of some items so people can judge for themselves 👍 hoping to start getting new videos on Marmaris out soon. 😊

I beleve there is only one company providing the jeep safaris. You can buy the trip from most street vendors scattered all over marmaris. I purchaced from the trip seller opposite the club Julien hotel.

They sell all kinds of fleeces, not sure on that brand, however asking price for the ones I have seen start at £60.00. I wouldnt pay that mind. Probably get them for 15-20 aha

The highlight of my one and only butlins holiday was packing the car up at the end and leaving. Cost a fortune because we had to take the kids off site to find them entertainment because they were bored.

That's a shame, doesnt seem too unaffordable, we are visiting again ina couppe of weeks and its cost 220 quid for 2 adult 2 kids with meal plan! I'll be bored for that 🤣

Used to work in Stephenson House which were offices above the shops in the Centre. Sad to see its decline which probably started when Teesside Park opened and took trade away from the High Street. Still it will be good to open up the riverside.

Thanks, have you been over here yet? I'm also filming the demolition process atm. But it's a pretty long project 😓 Yeah, I'm insure why the security where funny here, it's a public building as the council purchaced it. I had multiple run ins with them, crap mamangment that's for sure, not surprised it ended up nocked down.

@@jamiekenleyuk Yes mate, I was over last year to film! Was totally deserted except for one security guard. If you can believe it, it was one of his first days on the job! Good point, but I think it would still qualify as private land though, right? Because it's covered and was still locked/unlocked on the daily. Not sure of the legal implications.

Used to come here with my mother and siblings. We came for 3 years on the bounce during the summer holidays, 06, 07 and 08. The place has really changed. The boat house where the back right sits used to be a wall with a soft play area. Good times here with my family.

Yes, it is basicly in the town square so you can find all your regular stores there too aswell as the bazaars

i have been on a safari and it was very good because we were fighting with water and we took a bucket and threw the water on everyone else and we drove very fast and there was food and the food was very good.
