They;ve only got half of this. I know - I've been doing this naturally most of my life. You dont just observe, you put things together, you consider the context, you remember something relevant. And then you stitch the whole thing up. a few tricks with cards isnt mentalism. Mentalism is not only knowing how people react, but how most think in a give situation, how they reveal that, what the normal psychology is. For example, in one episode Patrick says that the wounded crim on the run has gone downhill, ""because all wounded animals go downhill" and that same will "always go to place they feel safe". This comes from studies of psychology, people in groups and lots of other studies. Notice how much Patrick reads, and they ALL intelligent books, many of the classics, like Dickens, Josephine Tey, the pоет Blake, and Shakespeare. He is as much a student of human nature as just someone wh o can read body language.

It’s mind blowing to hear him talk in his natural dialect. I had no idea he was British until I watched this. Such a talent.

The introduction is so cheesey! I mean it's so undermining for Simon's top-notch quality of acting and playing the role of a con man. Shrimps, and sizzling...what is that?! Is he handsome? Yes, he is. But not for her to go overboard. That's quite sick, I must say.
