An API can be imagined as the following analogy: There’s a restaurant, let’s say that is an Italian place that serves the greatest bologna pasta in the world, you get there and there’s the menu where you can choose from On the other hand, there is the kitchen where all magic happens. But wait, I can’t enter the kitchen without permission, so, how can I communicate the kitchen that I want to ask for the special of the day? The answer, is the API The API works as the waiter, it takes your order, it gives it to the kitchen and gets back with your food 🍝 As simple as that.
