Yeah, thats a 10, 10 and a half, jeez m crow my friend, you got frozen turkeys for hands!! You guys had a good day getting them perch. good dinner!
@randomjackson5744 ай бұрын
I know i am going to rile alot of feathers by saying smallmouth are the most overrated fish on the planet, yes on Lake St Clair they are plentiful, but they are lazy and you can pretty much fish them on light line and never get broke off. They barely fight, easy to catch, not much of a challenge. Good perch are way harder to find, a sheephead will smoke them on a fight, and a 12" mangrove snapper caught off a dock in florida will rip more drag than a 5lb smalley. Let the hate fly guys, im a big boy, i can handle it. plus the smallies will ruin a good perching day, all day.

Can you recommend a good guide for the late feb perch?
@macklinoutdoors74222 жыл бұрын
Hi Ken, thanks for you comment! Most of the guides on Sag Bay target walleye and will get big perch as bonus fish. I don’t know any that go strictly for perch. Mike Martin Outdoors does follow outs for $75/person if you have you’re own equipment. Legend Killers is another popular guide for ice walleyes. You can find them both on FB. Good luck!

Thanks man! I run a Polaris quad and it works great 90% of the time but there are times when a sled is the best way to go. Definitely if your crossing cracks. I typically fish the East side so the cracks usually aren't a problem. Good luck next season and I appreciate you watching!! God Bless!
