It should have been RKelly vs Babyface because those two sung had hit albums and wrote for everybody Teddy Riley yeah he invented New Jack swing and produce a lot of great hits but you see everybody that left his group like Aaron Hall and David Hollister blew up. And the record companies they wanted RKelly to be like Bobby Brown and wanted RKelly to be like Aaron Hall at that time until they seen his true talent the dude could write produce sing. MJ was supposed to be like James Brown. MC Hammer was supposed to be like James Brown and they wanted vanilla ice to be like MC Hammer

Shit they snatched him faster than they did MJ,Justin T,or Omarion. Bobby B just happened. It was in his contract for one album after they kicked him out the group. They wanted Ralph tresvant to be the 1 to snatch out the group. It would have happened for David ruffin if he had better writers and stayed clean long enough. Dave Hollister is another good example he left blackstreet and blew the hell up.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Rkelly's idea. Newjackswing was the moment. But you seen what happened next. Mgm changed to Public Announcement. And then they seen Rkelly could write sing. No need to dance. We want you to drop these albums, write for other people, and produce other people's songs and albums.
