What a day out, the 206 caught my eye on the day, couldn't stop taking photos of it, good to get a blether with the owner too. Amazing having Harri along, what a legend, great to see him flying around in Kenny's Skoda! Wullie was loving flying round in his K11 on the gravel for the first time, what an experience 👏 😊❤

Excellent, proper rallying, non of this 4 wheel drive WRC nonsense......i competed for 20 years, road rallies, forest and tarmac stage events and do not regret all the time and money i spent on the sport. I cannot bring myself to watch a rally now, its all down to who has the biggest budget and the latest works spec car ! Appreciate you uploading this.
I am one of the people who loves the 6r4 born the year it was made in 1985 and going to rally’s in the 90s going to weldex and Scottish were my favourite times of year and hearing a 6r4 or 3 echoing up the rest and be thankful was what made me love the sport to this day the 3 best sounds on the planet for me are the 6r4 driven in anger a group a impreza and bda escort ❤❤❤

Really nice rallying. Simple, but spectacular and worth seeing. We really can learn from this! Greetings from...a rally lover from Austria. 😍

Totally get it! I don't dislike them, but I do think they're massively over-hyped. Ironic that the sound of the engine is what people rave about, but it was the engine that spoiled it ultimately. If they'd fitted a turbo four-pot, it probably would have been more successful at WRC level!

It is just the hype i don't like Daniel and the point and squirt issue i alludeed to.

The same thoughts could be applied to R5/Rally2 drivers today. , you can't hate them, but average drivers looking good because of ££££.

I reckon i can name the average R5/Rally 2 drivers Paul... I get your point though.

Please buy a decent camera and sit still. Sound is rubbish too. Interesting topic, good channel. Positive feedback honest but hard to watch.

But the first genuine Hypercar, the Jaguar XJ220 was basically a re-badged 6R4, how can you not like that??

I agree with you Bob when you have built and prepared them you soon hate them, nice to see one now and again, what you said about a driver suddenly becoming competitive that has always been the case Bob the guy with the biggest wallet usual wins,

Just out of curiosity do you use a tripod for steadying the camera on longer zoomed shots? I had my camera up with me last week but I could do with a tripod for next time I'm out, footage is just a little too shaky to post.

Unfortunately Bob its not just rallying, the young ones of today are spoiled for choice to what to do, and I hear what your saying about going on about rallying in the Mk1 MK2 days, the truth is we have see the best years of rallying, the table top rallying was were most navigators cut their teeth and moved on to road rallying but road rallying has died a death so it all has a knock on effect, keep doing what your doing Bob but it will be a thankless task good luck with it,
