Not a good corner to go off. So was this contact and was it the green 911 losing control while diving on the inside of the corner? Seems to me the other BMW had slowed down way too much already to have been the culprit. Glad you seemed to be ok.

Thomas ist ja scheinbar wenig passiert, hat echt Glück gehabt. Den Knochen bekommt er wieder hin, es gibt ja für die Mk1 und Mk2 alle Teile noch in neu.

Ist der auf seiner eigenen Flüssigkeit (Öl?) ausgerutscht und hat sich dann überschlagen als die Reifen wieder Grip bekommen haben, oder was war hier die Ursache?

Fahrer 1 looks more like Hartmann? I don't know why you took such pains to keep the white BM behind you in the early laps. As Randy Pobst says, if he is faster than you he belongs in front of you. Over a 24 hour race your positions won't be decided by a few seconds. I would have let him go and driven my own race. 1:11:11 Your unconventional steering wheel technique almost gets you. Well recovered.

Not as pleasant a video to watch as the 1000km Parts 1 & 2. I have seen worse camera positions. The sound! I guess that starting position is not decided on the basis of qualifying times? The faster cars all seemed to be starting behind you. Your race plan appears to be to let all the high-testosterone drivers (the accidents looking for a place to happen) get out of your way and drive your own race.

Two very smooth drivers. Herkströter is as relaxed as if he was driving to the supermarket to buy bread and milk. Hartmann is more technical and precise. They make the most difficult and dangerous race track in the world look easy.

I admire your patience in the first two laps. You had a race plan and stuck to it. When you had clear track you showed what you can do. I first became interested in ADAC Classic Langstrecken races at the Nürburgring from watching the videos of Gerrit Sturm. He also had a target lap time of ten minutes thirty on this track layout.
