I first heard this many years back on the soundtrack for The Power of One, but your version is so soulful and just paints the pain of lyrics perfectly, wish you would come perform in NYC !!!

good music, mastered the art of african soulful music.I'M FROM KENYA.....WE HAVE SEVERAL SONGS MORE EQUIVALENT LIKE THIS SONG...ESPECIALLY SONGS FOR PAINFUL EXPERIENCES....I THINK AFRICANS THINK THE SAME ALL OVER...AMAZING GRACE WAS ALSO A SUFFERING SOULFUL SONG FROM A WEST AFRICAN TRIBE, UNTIL NEWTONE CONVERTED IT TO A HYMN BY ADDING GODLY LYRICS TO THE TUNE HE HAD HEARD A MILLIONS TIMES WHILE HE WAS TRANSPORTING SLAVES TO THE NEW AMERICA.

there are so many instances in the USA where this would be an appropriate son g to sing. Music has been instrumental in all he great movements of the people. It touches the soul. So sing it, say it, preach it, proclaim it!!!!

This song has one of those really special places in the South African psyche, I grew up on the farms in the rural communities of South Africa, I remember this song with such ...well, reverence and I am so unbelievably touched that you deliver such a soul stirring rendition of this song, you've brought tears to my eye's! Diana Difícil não se emocionar ao ouvir sua interpretação! Conheci este tema a anos atrás e desde então venho coletando canções africanas que toque sentimentos tão puros quanto os que SENZENINA, nos permite.
