wow.. how nice sound.. is that an XL Djembe about 36 cm diameter or the L 32 cm diameter? Am looking to buy one right now.. find it hard to choose the right size and good bass sound in balance with the high-pitched sounds... what size is really best when you play solo vs in group? love this sound as he can really get the contrast right and the tone is like perfectly long, not too long with a lot of ringing but also not too short between bass and tom-tom sounds...

That djembe sounds like it sounds because he is playing it, not you. You could have the same djembe but it won’t sound the same sorry

It's amazing how many of these native drummers are on You Tube. Equally amazing is the fact that they all sound virtually the same. I can only figure that it takes very little talent to do that.

Man, you've got some serious mental illness, I can read exactly the same comment you post on most Djembe Fola videos....I 'll give you an advice, first try to get a good Djembe, and then try to play descent slaps and mediums sounds, which according to your comments will take you around ten years, for the rest the solo it's gonna be way out of your league 😂 dushbag

@@thozotthembandaba8526 "Your peunut mind is not even able to conceive what they are doing...." Actually, my peanut mind is way over qualified. Here - whack. (repeat two dozen times) . Whack slightly different. (repeat three dozen times. Wow, you are correct - my peanut mind doesn't know what the heck I'm doing.

what language is this? and does this type of singing with Djembe exist in most counties in Africa, what about Zambia and Angola? Angola speaks Portuguese, I know Capoeiristas sing when playing there music in Brazil.. are there a similar martial arts dance with Djembe in Africa somewhere to Capoeira? I am planning to go to Africa and want to visit the counties with most interesting drums, martial arts culture.. where to best go? thanks !
