Thanks for adding this, I did not know that there was a 50th reunion. Great to see familiar faces from the past.

Happy memories of "The Smokies" in their heyday at the Hitchin' Post. A great Country Band managed by the late Des Kelly of the Capitol Showband.

It was with great sadness that i learned of the death of my brother-in-law Noel Stewart: although we never kept in touch for no reason in particular other than distance i have thought of Noel on and off over the years. He and his daughter and soon to be daughter in-law called with jack his brother and myself around 2012. They called to see if we could direct them to Ikea and on that occasion they came in for a cup of tea and stayed chatting to us for approximately an hour and a half. It was lovely to see them. His elder brother Jack was just beginning to develop Alzeheimers and is now in a home but failing. Please pass on to Robert and the other members of the family our condolences from myself and Jack and members of our side of Noel’s family. We are all very sad to learn of the death of Noel. Regards to all. Jean Stewart
