Great to see my ol' haunt---where I resided while working in and commuted to & from Kanda. I lived along the river--which was exceptionally picturesque during Sakura season.

Hello! Watched this video, and absolutely loved it! We were planning on to visit Japan in January 2025, but we recently heard about this bacteria spreading there. From what i noticed in the video, you seem to know the place well. Can you suggest, if it is okay to travel to Japan right now? Thanks!

Hello. Thank you for watching the video. First of all, fewer people are wearing masks in Japan now, and we can live our lives as usual, so I think the safety is high. Also, since it's still a long way until January, I can tell you that it's okay at this stage. It can feel a little chilly in Japan in January, so I recommend that you dress a little warmer. Popular places in January are very crowded with many people visiting temples and shrines. Asakusa and Meiji Shrine are especially popular. Ueno is close to Asakusa and has temples and shrines, so it might be a good place to enjoy in one day. You can also see Tokyo Skytree, one of Tokyo's landmarks, so it might be nice.😊
