Realistic pattern. Very well demonstrated and explained. Thank you.

Why can't anyone figure out a way to have the net mounted with the handle pointed up so you can reach back and pull I'd down and out instead of having a dripping wet net on your back all day. If they're handle up the net portion is below your waders and you stay dry

I want to catch redfish, speckled trout, stripers and hopefully flounder with a flyrod in the Chesapeake Bay. I think an 8 weight would do the job. I don't have a lot of money to get started. Any recommendations? I can spend maybe $200. If that's not enough I probably can't do it. I use spinning rods about 98% of the time, and I fish often. I know I love to catch fish. We have a lot of marshes and bays with redfish and the others that should be perfect for a flyrod. Maybe down the road I can get something more expensive but I have to see if I like using the fly enough first. My spinning rigs all cost around $200-250. I hope I can start with a fly setup for the same money.

Thank you for your very positive Thomas and Thomas Zone fly rod review. Made a believer out of me! I live in southwest Florida and will be taking it with me to New Hampshire in August for some trout fishing in the mountains.

This fly pattrrn worked well for me. Floated nicely and got some nice browns.

That main image, which reappears at 0:40, looks wrong. Isn't the line supposed to be threaded so it's coming out of the reel, and up to the guide, from the next section down (away from the rod)? As it is there, it looks like the line will be constantly rubbing against the reel cage.

Very nicely put sir, I can tell you a true Sportsman and not just a salesman because you also gave me good advice to stick with in my budget. I am thinking about getting into flyfishing because yesterday at Ponagansett fishing area in Gloucester, Rhode Island, I was using power bait on one hook, and a Cast master on the other, when three people beside me were fly fishing with flys caught there limit of 5 in an hour, I got 4 in about 6 hours Thank you for your video 😊

Nice tie, but maybe next time when tying a dark pattern use a light background. Black against dark blue made the fly difficult to see.
