There is another much deeper aspect for love your neighbor than just helping one's neighbor. Here is what one Jewish philosopher said "“The true meaning of love one’s neighbor is not that it is a command from God which we are to fulfill, but that through it and in it we meet God.” - Martin Buber. That is our purpose in life, to seek God, to allow Him to reveal Himself to us, to come to know and love Him and to find our joy in Him forever. May the Lord guide and bless your ministry.

The bible says that if you can't control your desires that it's better to get married than to burn with passion. I don't know anyone my age who's unmarried and who is able to control their lust. They're either fornicating, or watching porn, or lusting after others.
