Yes it was made originally in 2003 for Michael Jacksons never finished 11th studio album. Jackson wrote this song with Brad Buxer after Buxer was going through a break up and Michael heard Brad in the hotel he was staying at screaming I am a loser I am just a loser after Michael checked up on Brad and Brad told Michael the story. That was when Michael suggested how about we write a song about it. And Buxer and Jackson got to work on the song in the morning. It was originally titled I Am A Loser. Eventually the song was picked up again in 2008 with the song rewritten to I Was A Loser. And that is the snippet you hear you are hearing the 2008 take. However we only have the full version of the 2003 take I Am A Loser this take would be leaked on September 7th 2013
