Dealer markups are a huge problem, making getting the Blackwing inaccessible to people unwilling to pay over MSRP in 2024/25.
@EddieXКүн бұрын
Still?? I’d try other dealers. Markups shouldn’t be a thing anymore on these.

It's really disappointing to hear, that GM thought that it would be a good idea to only have 19's on that sled, instead of staggered 20's on the front, 22's in the rear
@EddieXКүн бұрын
I don’t see any reason why they would need to go to larger diameter wheels…. 22s on a sedan is just silly.
@southdetroitentertainment7741Күн бұрын
@@EddieX With a sled like that, many men like myself would get some mod's done, and some power adders to increase the horsepower With more horsepower, you would need a larger tire, like say a 22, so you have more contact on the road

Eddie, great review. Love your enthusiasm for the car. My best friend was one of the lead engineers on this car. He said there were a lot of sleepless nights for he and his team getting it right. I have a Radiant Red CT5 V Blackwing on order with a TPW of 12-9-24. I can't wait. I went with the 10 speed. I had the manual in my 6th gen ZL1 and although I enjoyed it, I was eager to test the A10 as I felt like I was missing out on what they were saying at the time was a transmission for the ages. And boy were they right. As engaging as that manual is and was for me, the A10 felt like an entirely different car. I feel like it makes the absolute best use of that LT4 powerband. It's just a brutally violent car through the rev range. With that said, if a Drift Metallic shows up at my dealer before my unit arrives even if it has the manual, I'm taking it. 😉🤫

"a can with a can stainless steel refrigerator on it" (to clean a delorean) that's kinda funny in a way. there is one connection between a refrigerator and a delorean. in the movie 'back to the future' the original time machine was a refrigerator. but the movie makers were scared that kids would lock themselves up in a refrigerator. so they opted for a sport scar. the delorean. now every time people think off stainless steel refrigerators, they have to think of deloreans too.

Wait till the trans starts slipping and eventually goes out. GM has known about this for years. Problem is the new mechanics of these vehicles are designed by new mechanical engineers. All GM veteran engineers are retired. Good luck!
