They changed it back in the small update today😅 And added 2 rounds to every mag without lowering mag count!

They ruined it, and it supported the co-op philosophy so well. Stun enemies while your standard scorcher teammates mop them up.

The plasma punisher was beautiful now look at how they massacred my boy! 😢

I felt this in my soul. 💔 300 hours of mastery down the drain. It wasn't just a weapon, it was a philosophy - a way of life. I brought this up on Reddit and a handful of know-nothings were like "durr AH can fix it with programmable ammo - just toggle to the old plasma round." Like, no dude, they changed the weapon trajectory itself and flattened out the arc so putting the old ammo in the new PP would be even worse. 🙄 IYKYK.

I was at Meridia, i was at Vernen Wells when the Children called, I held back the hordes of Automaton forces with nothing more than that Blessed Punisher Plasma Shotgun. And now they've nerfed a weapon i've spent 200+ hours mastering that one weapon and it was in the worst way possible... Removing the key features of the gun

I was so used to it's ballistic, so i could shot backwards while running and hit without aiming, now... I just run out of ammo and die

Plasma Punisher change feels like they wanted it to be more of a close quarters weapon, while making the Purifier more of a ranged weapon. So you have to choose between CQC or ranged... when what they _should_ have done is kept the PP the way it is, then give the Purifier to people who want to use the middle child between the Scorcher and the Plasma Punisher.

I'm so happy to see that I was not the only Plasma Punisher lover out there. The gun was So good in the hands of a good player against bots. Keep bitching to the devs please.

Also, because they changed the arc shot of the Plasma Punisher. The grenade launcher now has a different arc.

Thank you for showing the shrapnel effects from the grenade. Very useful to see since the upcoming patch to the Eruptor will apparently use this model.

Good guide, but it annoys me that this game always railroads you to one thing to make money. In this case, diamond piracy in Frog. So tedious.

if this game wasn't half call of dooty id still be playing. Tribes 2 was the best. The biggest complaint in tribes 1 & 2 were the chainwhores and hi-rez basically gave everyone a machinegun and ruined it. Also the credit system for vehicles sux, the shrike sux, and no bombers or transports.
