Yeah and besides tours being similar, in San Fran, Architects was having their rescheduled show on the same day in SF as We The King's 10yr album tour. So I went to We The Kings show instead. I'm gonna try and see Architects in SF next year when they come back. Since more people are liking punk, pop punk/alternative and metal music, it gets kinda ridiculous. Now it all depends on the level each artist on the tour's are that would determine how well each show does. Even how late a show starts affects sales here in The Bay Area since a lot of use public transit and the trains here run no later than around 12:20am. Which kinda sucks. I skipped a few shows 'cause they'd start too late and be done around 1am and the train doesn't start back up until 4am weekdays or 6am weekends. Also in The Bay Area, a few cities are easy to get to and they have a lot of really great venues that get great artists playing there. So if a show is playing in San Fran and a similar type show is also playing in Oakland and Berkeley, then artists gotta look at those cities as well as in SF. Sometimes Mt. View, Santa Cruz and San Jose are included depending on who's playing there. Those, you have to drive or ride share to.
