Were there blooms all season? it is labeled a continual bloomer, is this true in such shady conditions? Thanks!

@@annbrodzinski5707 definitely does fine on this north facing wall. Gets a tiny bit of light in the morning and more in the late evening at sundown. The first flush of blooms is the strongest. Then we have blooms periodically.

You must have the perfect climate. I live in zone 9b & it is hot here & my Olivia is in full sun. She has smaller blooms and lighter in color. The bush is full & healthy and big. I just fed her today, i hope the blooms grow larger. They will darken in the fall. Still she is beautiful.

Thank you. Nice of you to say. I have some videos with narration but prefer to let the footage and audio create the feel of the video. I plan to make more videos that are slower with the idea of mindfulness in the forefront of its creation. You can certainly do it. I found that my channel evolved this way mainly because I’m not very comfortable speaking on camera but have always had an artistic need to create.

The two main points of interest are the marina and the lake grounds park. The park is nothing fancy but a lot quieter if on a week day.

How do u takr care of it?
@MichaelAyden10 ай бұрын
Planted it with lots of good compost dug in and used some organic fertilizer etc. I sometimes use David Austins rose fertilizer for ease of use because you only have to use it once at the start of the season. I follow the pruning advice given by the David Austin website and prune all my roses in February/March here in England. Throughout the growing season, I make sure to deadhead any spent flowers to encourage more blooms. I also give them a good watering if needed at least once a week then too. It's a very healthy easy-to-grow rose, a lot like Olivia Rose Austin is. Roses are more hardy and resilient than you might think. They love sunshine but many are happy in part shade and some even in almost full shade like my James Galway climbing rose. Nature does the rest 🙂

good video, I bought a small one from a supermarket. thinking about where I should plant it, yours near the side of the garden seems to be a good idea. However, conference pear trees seems to be tall and wide, so is regular trimming necessary?
@nellythree5 ай бұрын
I'm not an expert but trimming during the winter or dormant stage is the best for the plant, research online about the best way to cut to maximise fruit yield, I also have a young conference pear tree, it has a few pears that have taken, this is after I pruned it during winter, I think it was oct Nov I'm in yhe UK. Best of luck my friend ✌🏽 @@jazzlamee754

I ordered this rose last year. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that they had shipped a pink CLIMBING rose instead! To give them credit, they refunded the price of the rose and they are shipping me a new Scarborough Fair this year. I can't wait!!!!!

Oh that’s good. It’s a more blousy and moves in the breeze sort of rose. A unique beauty and more akin to a wild rose. Healthy and hardy. I hope it matures wonderfully for you.

Unrecognisable as the place that I spent the early years of my life in. The first three and a half minutes were totally alien to me and views across the town look like any town anywhere. Lack of a commentary is also to the detriment of this film.

how many hours of sunlight does it get? looks gorgeous!!

I estimate that during the late spring and into the summer months, it will get well under an hour of direct sunlight in the morning and about an hour or two in the evening before the sun dips behind the houses over the road.

@@MichaelAyden oooooh.... that is amazing.... such great performance with so little light!!! @@alicejwho hello!! I can happily say that they have surpassed all my expectations!! it is only their first season and the james galway has not been without blooms in the past three weeks!! the gertrude jekyll gave a big first show and already budding up for the next and the clair austin is a slow burner!! Always with three to five blooms/buds, never many but never less!! I have no point of reference as to how they would perform in full sun but being in shade their blooms do last a lot longer than what i hear on the reviews!! so i am more than happy with that!! had a claire austin bloom that lasted over a week.....
