I held off on purchasing the F4 because I’m not really a fan of the real jet, but damn, it looks so good in DCS. Just the sheer level of detail of it makes me want to get it. Also, very excited for the Kiowa! Also, have fun in the Netherlands, please be sure to try the Bitterballen!

I just started DCS for the first time, and im learning the Phantom, and im absolutely loving it !!! When it comes to Module updates how do I download them ?

Dcs releases updates that modify in waves all modules and maps plus core features. We always inform you when it happends and if you are on standalone dcs you have a updater.exe in the dcs install folder. If you use steam, it will prompt you for update when it happens

What about the massive performance issues poeple in the f4 are experiencing 🙃 the radar is killing a lot of people’s games and the fps drop is beyond bad, I can’t even fly every time I take off I crash. Have they said anything about that?

Not that I know but we will publish our EA review and want to see the first round of fixes getting in the sim prior to that. Just to get an ideea! Usually when you release a product to a larger audience you get more testing and variation in systems than what you did in close beta testing. Lets see how things go.

The phantom in vr looks so realistic it’s unbelievable. I hope HeatBlur can facelift the Tomcat to make it look more realistic as it looks like a cardboard cutout compared to the Phantom. I know the Tomcat is still a favorite among the DCS pilots
