Don't care about the stereo option. All I care about is how does compress and how does the compression sound. And in my ears the Klark Teknik wins. On every source. I am not a professional "per se", but I have been in the music arena for more than 40 years. If I was looking for a stereo compression option I'd look elsewhere.

I owned a newer (Chinese) VOX AC15 a few years ago; it had a SS reverb circuit, the cab was built from stapled MDF...but if you didn't look too close, it looked good, and it had that sound. It eventually cut out on me, so I took it to a repair shop; the quote was more than I paid for the amp. The tech told me he'd seen several of them, and that they were designed to fail within about two years. I've seen tons of videos of the repairs of the classic amps, and I believe that most of them were well made, but the wiring scheme (especially the vibrato) was pretty convoluted. The fact is, if you find a smaller shop with an experienced tech, you can negotiate a build with him, and you'd have a dependable amp that would last for decades for far less than a classic one (if you could find it). Just a thought...

I just added an Orion 32+ Gen 4 to my rig. It basically serves as AD/DA for an otherwise analog rig (old school analog console and outboard gear). I have 32 analog ins and outs and am using the SPDIF input for returning stereo mixes that run through a Burl B2 ADC. Although I am afraid of computers and experienced some initial frustration, I was able to install and configure it without having to contact Antelope technical support. There's a bit of a learning curve with the Control Panel, but once you get a couple of stored templates going, you should be fine. As a standalone AD/DA it sounds WAY better than what I had before.

I'm having so meny issues with AFX2DAW on Antelope Zen Go USB connected to a windows 11 I7-12700, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD. Maybe the problem is not the audio interface, but I am absolutely not happy about AFX2DAW. Also the support support was not so good as it's been for you. The only good thing is that I am not a professional user, otherwisse I would have to sell it and buy another interface

For me it is the `91 with and without processing. If I have to coose only one for all. But the way one play and the type of Strings and Plectrum can change the sound at all.

The TB/X from the '90s isn't the same as the original AC30. The CC2 from China (early 2000s) is arguably a better amp.

I have one now, just played it last night in a gig at the local American Legion. Mine is all original and sounds and plays great. Here's the reason it's thin. Gibson was going through a sales slump and made a Firebrand SG, Les Paul,and I think Melody Maker. No top, trim or inlays. They're nickname was a poor man's Les Paul. Just a striped down version. I love mine and have had many people say it plays better than their Les Pauls.

dumb question but why not go directly into the daw with the acoustic guitar instead of amp-ing it? amp-ing the guitar adds additional processing where going directly into the daw makes it cleaner with less processing for potential amp hum and room noise. How U going to "GOBO" between the vox mic and the acoustic guitar mic ? a good vox mic like a Neumann, for example, would scream guitar along with the vox into one signal. Please explain. Thanks.

I have been using the original Orion 32 for years without issue. I think it has acted strange a couple times but was fine after power cycling. Recently had to jump through some hoops after doing an OS upgrade. But it’s been nothing short of reliable for the past decade. Also customer support has been pretty good. Occasionally slow to respond, but they have always come though. In terms of bang for your buck, hard to beat.

It has noticeably more clarity, but lacks a bit of Bass in the Bridge pickup. The neck pickup more than makes up for the tiny lack of bass in the bridge though. The tuners could use an upgrade too.

Unfortunately none of the crazy things that happened in social media was hearsay. This isnt a political discussion it was proven many many times to be fact. Luckily tho they got there ish together and have been really just kicking ass. Antelope plugins sound amazing honestly I have been debating switching from my 3 x series appolos but I've already invested almost 15k on that ecosystem and I'm slowly moving over to Dante for everything. But antelope is such a amazing investment in interfaces in today's world
