My apologies! Bake in a fan forced oven at 200°c for approximately 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. If you find the top is brown in quicker than the bottom as in underneath simply put a piece of foil over the top and leave it in the oven for another 5 to 10 minutes. It will stop the top from burning and then cook the bottom. Hope this helps! ⭐️

Hi there, Ingredients for sugar syrup: 1 litre water 800g sugar Juice if half a lemon (optional) Ingredients for dough: 400ml water 120ml canola oil 1 teaspoon salt 400g plain flour 1/2 tablespoon baking powder ( be careful if you accidentally add too much, it will not allow your outer shell to crunch up and will result in a soggy tulumbe after dunking into the syrup) 5 - 6 eggs held at room temperature (the number of eggs will depend on the size of your eggs. Refer to video for the thick paste like texture you’re after)

Most cooks, myself included, stack the dough discs on the tray with only oil between them and without them sticking together. I’m assuming you add the cling film so after its discarded and ends up in the ocean it could be ingested by dolphins and whales?

Although I appreciate your concern, I would recommend you not Assume the entire world (or a complete stranger is automatically doing the wrong thing before asking for clarification to what type of cling wrap they use) - so for education purposes I’d like to enlighten you that I use Bio Tuff Compostable Cling wrap which is a biodegradable and compostable, manufactured using renewable sources, plant-based thermoplastic corn-starch resins. In the words of dory, Just keep swimming 🙂

My apologies Daniela, Bake at 200c in preheated fan forced oven.. approx. 20mins I usually turn the oven on before I start stretching Also, If you find the top is cooking at a quicker rate then the bottom, put a loose piece of foil over the top (this will stop the top burning while the bottom catches up) I find one of my ovens does that so I guess it just depends on your oven 😊
