At about 33:45 Geowizard says the crew has knocked everything out of the park, but they haven't. They've already had many close calls. Most of the crew are novice rock climbers, and they are very sloppy. OTOH you can see Toby in his POV footage checking blocks to see if they're loose, flakes to see if they're hollow or detached, etc. You can see that the experienced climbers in the video aren't sending down rocks as they're climbing. And furthermore you can see that Toby, Alex, and Emil are anxious about what they're seeing from the rest of the crew (though they're not speaking as directly and forcefully about it as they should). If I was climbing with someone sending down this much loose rock, I hope I would stop our climbing for the day and take a step back to learn how to climb more delicately, more knowledgeably, and we would move to safer terrain. Also at 35:37 he says the rock "dislodged itself". No disrespect to Josh, but Josh dislodged the rock, it didn't fall off by itself. Benj could've not been standing in such a dangerous spot. Josh could've been more careful. The whole crew and especially Toby, Alex, and Emil should've been much more direct and forceful in leading the group and almost certainly calling it a day when the crew proved themselves incapable of climbing without sending down rocks over and over. Not to mention the need for helmets, first aid skills & kit, etc. etc. etc. I hope this experience was humbling, and that humility is reflected in learning the requisite skills for mitigating risk in the mountains.

Not a fan of this climbing video tbh. I'm not upset, it just felt like filler episode territory. Looking at the boys attempt this was no where near the adventuresome excitement of the inflatable boat river thing or something like that. I'm not full of hate, It just felt like filler episode stuff to watch. I hope youl retry some tree climbing or other stuff because this was all just dewayne Johnson but still better than watching cat videos. My favourite part of this video was Josh's sock somehow clinging on there.
