Peace be upon you folks! This is from episode 19, Season 2 of Everybody Hates Chris ( “Everybody hates gambling” ). ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ So hey, Story Time! I went with my Dad to get some gas for the car ( and snacks ) and a fellow customer had some banter with the gas station cashier before casually spending 50 bucks on lottery tickets. She didn’t win of course. But it broke my heart because A. ) she’s wasting her money that she probably needs ( I know I need it heh ) and B ) she could have gotten lunch, Bugfables and given a tip with that same 50. May God give us all good clean wealth ( hopefully in a dream job! ) that satisfies and sustains us. Amen ~

I played Silver Snow my first playthrough. When I heard Dorothea mimic the gatekeeper and say, "Greetings professor! Nothing to report", after the time skip, it gave me the biggest smile on my face. The writers knew that somehow they had turned this essentially nameless and faceless NPC into a beloved character 🙂

✿ Peace be upon you ~ Hey! Happy New Year! It’s good to see you again ( in the comments I mean since I can’t literally see you ). Hope the new year is treating you well inshallah. ✿ GateKeeper is sums up why I love 3 Houses so much compared to idk, Engage? Charming, nameless but memorable, NPCS and background characters you love to speak to, and that’s not even including. The main characters who are both written and voiced so well! It reminds me of Paper Mario and Bugfables in that sense, where I just love the characters to death. 🍊 ✿ I had a sudden urge to replay fire Emblem 3 houses. I beat Verdant wind waaaay back in 2021 and never played the other routes, especially since my Older Brother played Azure Moon. Did you only play Silver Snow or finish the other ones? Either way I have some ideas planned for FE3 Houses and Hopes, when I’m not too busy with school and everything else of course. Godwilling. Now that I’m older I can appreciate the series EVEN more ~

@islaamNogood Hello there!! Peace be with you as well! The new year has gone pretty well so far overall. How have you been? I completely agree. The character writing in Three Houses is definitely one of the best I've ever read in a video game. And I almost wonder how the same writers from Three Houses and Paper Mario ttyd can be the same writers as sticker star and Engage. Intelligent Systems is kind of inconsistent it seems haha. At least Engage is a great game gameplay wise. And yes, the main trio in Bug Fables are also incredibly well written. Love them all! I played Silver Snow right when 3 Houses released, and then waited about half a year before playing Azure Moon. Some time later I watched my brother play through Verdant Wind. So I have seen all the main routes. It is a huge time sink though, and I don't blame you for setting it down for longer. And yeah, age and maturity definitely help you appreciate the writing more in this very morally grey story! I have also have played whatever the Azure Moon route is in 3 Hopes. It is solid too, though understandably not as good as the main game.

✿As salamualykum folks! I think the best part of Chapter 2 so far ( for me ) is that it’s mostly, genuinely blind. I have no idea what to expect, who’s who, and it’s just a nice feeling knowing you don’t know what to expect! Mas salama, and have a good start to the week inshallah ~ ✿P.S. Unrelated but not only is Chapter 3 and 4 of DeltaRune coming out this year ( so I heard, hopefully inshallah ), Metroid Prime 4 is coming out too. Finally. :)
