so is this the ideal setup? Does a regular setup we use for Pinks (hook and beads, and constant reeling) dont work?

Casting and retrieving could work but plunking and just letting your bait sit out there seems too be the best way for sockeye right now

I'll be there tomorrow morning. Went tonight and there was not many people on the river fishing. I will try again tomorrow. I think the rain slowed them down a little bit. Water was high. Some good chest waders or a boat would be best right now. Maybe see you tomorrow if you go. Lol
