Nice kit. I like to see what other folks keep in their kits. I keep a pouch with each of my knives. I like my pouches to come off the knife and onto my belt when used. Only thing dedicated to the sheath is a ferro rod. And maybe a steel for striking flint. Just subscribed to your channel. 👍🏼

The SAK is discontinued. I have the old economy lunberjack w.o. tweezers. They rebranded it as a walker st some point. They still kinda make them as my first Victorinox for kids, those have blunt tips thou. If you are a little crsfty you could take a my first Victorinox apart and put a normal blade in. But the real question is why they dont come out with a big lumberjack in 91 mm

Neat little knife but compared to Mora or BPS it's not really affordable for the common man :(
@bushcraftkelso20137 күн бұрын
Affordability is hard to talk about. I agree Mora and BPS make great tools last I used a bps for last months kotm and I'm using a 511 for this months and they are extremely inexpensive and work extremely well. Each person's perception of Affordability different all depends on how bad you want something. Opinion also plays into this ill whiskey for example.. I wouldn't spend a dollar on it but i could save up for something I waited. Folks spend $10 a day on cigarettes but say something else is to expensive. Hard topic as for common man i work 40 hours a week like the rest of yall

@@bushcraftkelso2013Compare apples to apples...there are several companies that are making comparable sized knives for half of that price. $200 is too much for a 2" fixed blade This is a complaint aimed at Tops, not the designer.

I own an Esee CR 2.5… and was waiting for this beautiful knife to come out… I think it will be an incredible little tool, but in my case may be too expensive! Hope I can get one soon, but for that price I don’t think so. But I am pretty sure it is a great tool…. Regards… By the way, congratulations for taking your design out there and sharing it with the world.
