Wow, that guy almost got plastered. He had to be mightily distracted to not notice a train coming at him. This also illustrates why you should never assume that a second or subsequent train won't appear in multiple-track crossings after the first one passes.

A woman who worked for the same company I did got killed just like this. She was in a hurry to get to her bus and when the northbound passed she immediately crossed. She was struck by the southbound. They were still cleaning up when I passed by on the train on my way home that afternoon.
