Mags on the same side as gun is inefficient. The reload is slower that way. Also need to bring the gun into the workspace not off to the right. Don't need to flick the gun to drop the mag.

That’s what I do, shoot I could rebuild complete slide or frame 2x over the crap in my range bag alone! This problem was fixed w a press in about 2 sec once we got to the house

Looks a lot like a Hornady XTP.. Just FYI.. An ammo evaluation needs to include an actual chronograph reading from more than one barrel length. Plus some shots into a gel or water to get an idea about expansion. And, a rapid fire test in more than one gun to test functionality.. Guess if the phone books attack, we'll be in good shape..

They do. It’s definitely a fun cartridge to shoot, but because of the light projectile, I would not encourage someone to purchase this unless they are going to train with it. The reliability is most important not at the gun range, but in the real self-defense situation if ever in that situation

Agreed but if you know what you’re looking for you can prevent a catastrophic accident. I’d rather keep all my limbs in the configuration they’re in prior to shooting when I end the range day so knowing what It is n the noise it can make it most important so you don’t try sending another round down range

This is some good ammo. I edc these. These perform similar to xtreme defenders. Very low recoil, but has pretty good destruction capabilities for what it is. Shoot it outta the Glock 26. Surprisingly, I've never had a failure to feed for how light it is

I'm sorry, but why in hell would anyone put a red dot or a flashlight on one of these little 43X or P 365 cap guns? I just don't get it. it's not like either is a long range tool. They're meant for personal protection , most often within 15 feet. These days, all we see on every single gun is how much aftermarket junk can be put on it. Who.....REALLY uses the stuff for what it's designed for?

Personal protection may happen at night time. So a flashlight is a great idea to illuminate your intended target. A red dot is used for faster aiming without aligning sights and you’re held accountable for each projectile so guess I’m confused by your comment. While I agree that self defense is 15 feet or closer, typically, it can expand to greater distances and the dot nor the light would make carrying harder to do so y not have it there if it helps protect your life?

Great question, typically no the barrel is fine, but if you happen to not stop shooting when this occurs and the next round has enough powder, you could have an explosion in your hands and damage not just your firearm but inflict serious bodily harm on yourself.

Great question! Must be convicted, in fact a felony can get a permit if they get a special letter from issuing place later on but that’s a special privilege which rarely happens! Also this video is pretty old now and the laws under article 400 have changed slightly with who can apply and where they apply

I am using the +P version of the 65 grain fluted 9mm 1800FPS-465FT-LBS, it is expensive at 16 dollars for 26 rounds, I bought it because the good scorpion 115grain 50 rounds for 12.99 was out of stock, the Scorpion ammo shot 1 hole groups for me at 15 yards out of my PSA Dagger compact, Most reliable and accurate firearm I ever touched.

@@AndysBackpack brass. So this type of malfunction is due to lack of pressure bc of improper amount of powder. It could be cracked casing n powder spilled out or bad quality control at factory bc a calibration could be slightly off… Casing material can impact other malfunctions but it’s very rare imo. Example: aluminum is lighter than brass n fail to extract may be more common. Nickel is used bc less likely for fail to feed….

I love the ammo. I do not do anything other than target shooting. Works flawlessly. One thing not mentioned is that there is quite a reduction in recoil and perceived recoil. A long time ago I had an AMT .380 Backup. It was a nifty little pistol, that worked 100%. I was required to shoot a 60 round qualification each month. At the end of the Qualification round it felt like I had been kicked by a mule a few times.

I recommend the g43x mos topped with a Holosun eps carry optic! It’s a great little package perfect for range or edc i of r if you get into competition like IDPA you could still run it!

My M&P Shield 9 has almost 2000 rounds put through it with all kinds of ammo (ball, syntech, 115, 124, 147 & lots of JHP as well) has had zero fails. The NovX 9mm competition failed to feed and also jammed in the breach - this was the "pointed" shaped round (older production) NOT the newest round shaped. I contacted NovX and will also test in other 9mm pistols.

@@SmallArmsPistolAcademy You got to think at 60 cents a round a box of 50 is about 34 dollars, their not gonna be the best quality but at the same time why would any American made handgun round not be properly loaded with the right amount of powder to begin with, or any type of ammunition period, i would think that's actually a critical thing when it comes to self defense and having you're life on the line, that and squib loads can be dangerous on their own.

Dude my buddy had fiocchi 9mm cause two mayjor malfunctions on his guns. One was a catastrophic failure of his shadow systems, luckily he was unharmed. And the second was on a s&w (forget which model) completely jammed the pistol up, had to go to a gunsmith to get it apart and fix the damage. I wont trust Fiocchi period.

@@honsixtys1574 shoot it, I’ve shot thousands without issue. This was my cousins n he had the squib. More than likely it’ll fire. If you have a scale, you can weigh each cartridge to see if one of them is significantly lighter and if so, just don’t shoot that one round. You’d have to use a scale that has grains as a measurement.

@@honsixtys1574 i shot allot of fiocchi rounds and there was never any problem. About a thousand 9mm, a few thousand .357 and a ton of shotgun ammo. No malfunktion the whole time. I think things like that can happen with other ammo too, they cannot check every round and there will always be a faulty round in a million or more. Under this video you may find more people having the same problem, but thats only because they searched squib load (probably) and the chances of them or someone they know had have one is higher then normal. I think you don't have to worry.

As a firearm instructor i hear things like safety n stuff all the time n i find it intriguing, mainly because many people have giving me the opportunity to work with them and once they learn proper safe handling & realize my mentality of being a RESPONSIBLE gun owner, most people truly enjoy shooting. @@RockPile_The issue with that is that there are more gun in America then there are people Many of them, stolen or sold illegally on black markets. More gun laws aren't going to stop the people who are already breaking the laws we have in place from getting more illegal guns. Adding more laws just make it harder for those who DO follow the law to get guns to protect themselves from those who don't. Murder is a crime. But it still happens. Knives are illegal in Europe, people still get stabbed to death. Law breakers don't follow new laws, just like they don't follow old ones.

I bought this amma for my g2c and it jams up every time for some reason. I know Taurus has a bad rep but this is the first ammo that has done this to me. Im not saying its bad. Im just not sure why this is the only ammo that does that to me. Serria hollow points shoot perfectly along with Hornady and Winchester.
