Loved the quick demonstration. My SC2 started shifting hard, but I've had the parts ready for this replacement for a while. Plan to get it done tomorrow. Fingers crossed, I don't need anything more than replacing this and tightening the input shaft nut 🤞

So to confirm, if i wanted to be able to drive after upgrading to the 1050x, I just need to enter in '1050' to the flow scaling and then the latency numbers for it? Just wanted to be able to drive safely to a shops dyno instead of getting it trailered there.

@@Salvare008 most tuners probably dont want you to know that. Also latency numbers can vary a bit. But yeah just be careful flashing, Always make sure not to move much/make sure flash is seccessful. Not That hard to brick an ecu

full throttle when the engine is cold, oh dear. You need a wideband 02 sensor to monitor afr as the factory one only reads cruise....
@tschmidy1832 ай бұрын
😂😂😂 literally monitoring when i was crusiing kept it under 50 percent throttle on the colds engine. Just a little boost.😂😂 yall are funny. And yes i always tune with a wide bank i just dont show alot in vids, thanks for comment and watching tho!
@benc9112 ай бұрын
@@tschmidy183 hey, it's your car. If you wanna boost it whilst it's cold then go for it. You also need knock control. Det cans we call them in the UK. The knock sensor control on the standard ECU doesn't see all knock.
@tschmidy1832 ай бұрын
@@benc911 im quite certain nooone in the us uses them. In fact most tuners have never even heard of them. Ive been around dynos for years, never heard one even mentioned. But it doesnt hurt to look into them. I dont mind criticism at all as long as its helpful and not pointless. Lastly coolant temp was around 140 , i think thats ok for a couple psis of boosts lol. Would never stomp on it on cold engine ever.

@Zaid_Mohamed2 ай бұрын
Mapping without det-cans... not exactly smart. Can't just trust the knock sensor or what the ecu logger telling you. It's poor practice. you need det-can to hear for det. This seem to be a common trend in USA. Then wonder why scooby get bad reputation for blown engines over there.
