Man that sounds killer! You need to get an old tape recorder or something and upload the audio from there. The distortion and audio quality from one would really make it sound even more from the 90’s. 👍👌

The classic Chessie System Nathan K5LA train horn- ironically, Conrail also carried that horn. This still rivals the Leslie RS3L train horn, which both Conrail and Chessie System also carried on their locomotives!!!

Man, that S5T has a very good sound, when you first started the runby it had a pretty haunting sound, but coming closer to the camera, it sounded like a normal S5T

I live near an old C&O main line, now owned by CSX. I was born in 2006, the C&O had been gone for about 30 years. If I had a time machine, I would go back in time to the late 50s and watch train action on that line, and would listen to this and the occasional C&O hooter all day.
