That's correct. I've the china copy, its model is , YX360RTN. I'm looking for a table for the values of resistors used on that copy as I've a burnt resistor on its pcb and want to know its value. The buzzer mode is also the diode voltage drop test. Try few diodes and you will understand.

I have sunwa yx-360tres, but the buttery arrangement is different .. 2 AA, left right of the center vertically, i have problem: i can not adjust the hand on zero, its zero is on 10 DCV !!.. any solution? Thanks

Did you try the zero adjustment screw on the dial? If it doesn't work then probably there's some coil issues

@@DigitalBhangari i tried but the needle its zero on 10 dcv, i think the coil lost its elasticity. And the zero ohm rotor do not work! ..is there a fuse connected to it from inside?

@@LawatheMEid carefully take it apart and inspect the coil, if the knob is connected to the tiny lever of the coil adjustment mechanism and if the hair spring is in one piece

Maybe try checking the calibration potentiometer, a little wd40 on the potentiometer can fix it, but if that doesn't work maybe replace it with with one of the same resistance.

Maybe the input socket have a gap is because it needs to not be too stiff therefore flex?

There are othere meters which dont have the gap.. Gap ones are easier to manufacture

you just test the resistor in a wrong range thats why you cant get the right value of the resistor ... for me that multitester is still working good you just dont know how to use it properly ... actually my tester is the same like that

There's no off position. The circuit is normally open until you short the probes or connect them to something in either ohm position or diode test, the voltmeter doesn't even require a battery.

Mastech ones are good enough, some are high end as well, definitely should be usable for most things. But since I have never used that one my opinion is rather speculative.
