The messed up part about this hack is that there's nothing here that would be beyond the capabilities of a regular Sega Genesis. Without putting too fine a point on it, that basically means that this game could have been way better than it was but it was stifled by stupid corporate deadlines. And I say this as someone who played this game back on my Mega Drive in 1993.

Nice mod. Music is a bit naff and I do miss Reese's lab coat on levels 2-4. But there are 3 issues I still see unresolved: 1. Why are all the Terminator's in Skynet's underground lab, infiltrators? They don't need to be flesh covered unless they're infiltrating (as the name implies) or time travelling! 2. All of the L.A. Police officers in 1984 are, apparently, Terminator's. Shoot them as much as you like and they still get up every time. Kevlar is NOT that good. 3. What have all those street punks got against Kyle Reese? The only person with a gripe (I can think of) is the hairy fat bloke who's trousers he half inched. Saying that, at least the cop/punk ratio is fairly equal in this game. Not so much the VERY odd Mega CD version which had NO cops in it at all. WHY???

Wow is like a Battle 22 (psx) + the aesthetic and effects of Bu Yu Retsuden (mega drive and superior than Battle 22 on nearly all aspects)

A great selection of games, man! Bloodlines is the unquestionable winner, but I’ve always been interested in Chakan … it looks like it plays a little rough but I’m convinced there’s a decent game in there. Aesthetically it looks pretty awesome, at least. Nightmare Circus seems like the one best avoided 😆

I have this game I don’t play it anymore I don’t see how anyone is still playing it still when you have the better dragon ball Z games on PS2 PS3 PS4 if I were to play on the Sega Saturn again it would be for games like X-men acs street fighter games that played bad on PS1 that never got released it’s to bad just they were all in Japanese the dragon ball Z games on the Sega Saturn play just as stupid as the Nintendo and Super Nintendo games Bandai was doing a bad job how can a console like the Sega Saturn have bad dragon ball Z games when it plays the arcade games just great

I would very much have preferred to play this “improved” version over the unfair and frustrating game I rented as a kid. I never noticed how cool the soundtrack is in this game, particularly for the first & final stages!

Wow... well, the game actually LOOKS pretty decent. From the looks of it though, it doesn’t play very well. I haven’t played the official Mickey Mania, I should really get on that one of these days

One of the worst bootlegs I've played in a while. Of all the additions they could make, why they felt the need to include a knockback animation after every hit is beyond me.

Watched this last night, but I forgot to leave a comment. This is a very neat looking game! It does look like it might be a little frustrating for a casual playthrough, those one-hit deaths looked pretty brutal ... especially in that last stage with the lightning. Still, I love that character design!

Wow, this was ... interesting. I’ve heard of this game, but I’d never actually seen its gameplay before. Once I saw what it was trying to do, it scored some points for being kinda clever. But it seems like the devs just didn’t quite know how to turn their idea into something playable. I lol’d at the end, though.

I’ll be honest, I’m glad they changed some of those backgrounds, but they should have left the “fist pump” pose in at the end of the levels!

This was a game I always wanted, but I don’t think it actually came out here in the US. I have it on the the GameBoy Color, although I haven’t yet played it to see how faithful it is to the console version.

This game didn’t really grab me when it first came out so I never played it BITD, but it looks pretty fun and imaginative. I’d like to add it to the ol’ collection one of these days. I dig your Halloween splash screen, by the way!

The execution leaves a bit to be desired, but this is such a cool concept. As I recall, the difficulty curve leans towards “unfair.” I rented it in high school and I think I actually managed to get to the next level (an office building or a laboratory or something).

Can you make a link to down load it? But if you put The video at 1.5 speed it almost looks normal besides the different music

Control layout was set to A being jump, B being shooting and C for grenades/run. I usually like to have B for jumping, so the lack of control layout customizing was a bit of a downer.

Bits of the screen, notably the top and bottom, are chopped due to the excessive zoom. Made playing through Bridge Zone a bit more challenging.

This a such a great-looking game! To be honest, despite that fact that it’s reasonably well-known and I remember kind of wanting it when I was a kid, this is the first time I’ve even seen it being played. I like that the enemies turn into Puyo Puyo blobs when they die :D

I'll be honest, couldn't grasp the controls during this quick "first time play". Looks like a good little game, reminds me of a mix between Lylat Wars and Star Trek Invasion.
