Genuine question. Why is murder less disguting than SA? I had the same reaction for both but watching reactors, they tend to only be disgusted around the SA part.

I love how Jorge portrays r*pe. (no, not like that!) He doesn't sugar-coat it, he doesn't use fancy words. The point of it is to show how evil the suiters are. The use of violas "screaming" in the background illustrates this point. In a way the simplicity and overall lack of background vocals in that section shows how evil and blunt he is being. This could also mean that he was mostly alone in this decision, although all the suiters joined a few moments later. On a separate note, the second part of this clip is hands down my favorite part of this song (and maybe saga) because of the harmony solo and gorgeous vocals.

I just kept saying that Odysseus turned into the main character and he was on his villain arc 😅 💀😭

With a few songs that they give Penelope they not only show that she is just as clever if not, maybe more clever than Odysseus but you can see why someone like Odysseus would work so hard to get home.

Just wanted to let you know that the violin we hear is Penelope's screams if the suitors did s@ her, that it is both the melody of "Nooo!" Odysseus screams in "Keep your friends close" AND sounds like the "Push Forward!" Which is sang in "Survive" showing Penelope's determination to fight back against the suitors and survive to see Odysseus again.
