This is such a wonderful opportunity. I'd love for BFEC to interview former students and see where they are now.

This video presented hard situations...the technology really can be positive tools for them! The unhappier is when we can see a reality where people with healthy who use techonology but development mental disorders because this, that is in this case technology could be considerated a kind of "gun". I think it depends how you use technology, how much time, in what kind of situations we use technologies etc. But the true is techonolgy is just a tool, and we can choose what can we do with it.

Chebucto Heights is where legends are made, including Basketball greats like Will Njoku, Actresses like Pay Wen Chen and Nicole Jordan, and also the first Special Olympics athlete in history to be inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame. During the 1980s, it also had one of the best Special Education programs in Nova Scotia, and possibly in Canada under Mrs. Ascah, Mrs. Williams, Ms. Wilson, and Ms. Rahey Abbass.

I completely disagree. My son was in split class when he turned grade 1. The school emailed the parents a week before the school started and it was really ridiculous. I emailed to principal and vice pricipal and they said my son was social and very independent child so his primary teacher chose him to the split class. Excuse me. How could you explain the 5years old child is INDEPENDENT child? How can you explain the majority kids are 14 and 5kids are grade 1 im one classroom? What grade is it? How does a teacher manage the different levels at the same time in the same classroom? You said they could provide grade 1 lessonseparately but NO. My son brought all the colorings and primary level materials again. And which critical thinking can grade 1 increase with primary kids in Split class? That doesn't make any sense. My son had really hard time losing his old friends and they didn't want to get along with my son because he was Primary class again. This system hurt the 5 years old boy who was independent and social and moved to private school. If there are any categories on the report card or any mentions during parents meeting for the kid to be in split class, we could understand which parts my son needed to improve. And a teacher needs to choose kids who must go to the split class, especially the same grade for the next year, he/she must notify their parents in advance. If the parents and children are not comfortable with it, there are problems. Listen to parents voice.

Same here. The class list was available a week before school starts. And the principle stated that determination was made before summer break. My son’s close friends are all at the higher grade split class and he is assigned to be in a split with a lower grade. He is an excellent student academically and socially. But now he felt left behind… not acceptable.

So a Regional Centre for Education ....And yet part of education is Freedom of expression "fundamental freedom" by Section 2 Charter of rights And Human rights : Freedom of speech and a free press And Renaming Sir John A. Macdonald High School: Student Voice Is only that And Blocked to the public on a public media form for comment. So you are for the name change And block others from commenting for or Against it ....Now that the name has changed People like me A Native Canadian will share his view on this Non blocked "Welcoming new comers at Hailfax West High School" That had seen Acadians driven from homes Killed in the fields And segregated schools back as little as 1983 that still had segregation What is more condemning A name from more than 150 years ago Or people still living in Halifax that use to teach in segregated schools Or a School board that Blocks comments from Native And Blacks And all others on the subject ...You are teaching white transgender gay female/male/others to express themself On what is put in front of them That's great ! Ask them if they ever been stopped in a Walmart for being white while shopping......Or stopped on a sidewalk midday And told they fit the description of a "Brown guy" breaking into homes near by .........These little things ..."Informing yourselfs first" Great ! Inform yourself on what effects people today....Are there members of the school board from 1983 that was apart of segregated schools? .......What bugs me is You can drill back over the "forgotten" things as little as 1 day ago that affect Canadians present And future But Throw rocks at a Name 150+ years ago .....Ya the right thing to do because No one 150 years old will object to the claim...School indeed ....Please forgo my comment as Bad grammar And spelling And reply to me in my native Moose Cree Or Français?

Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2019 at 12:14 AM From: "Grattan Puxon" To: [email protected], "jASON CROTEAU" Hi Jason, Have to put it this way because of what we're doing to build a Roma Nation Mandate. M'ikmaq bands and their militias published materials with the former Gypsy Lore society in1888 Nova Scotia. Persons of mixed Romani and other [Mikmaq etc] can if they are interested be included as Voters. Each will need to say so and provide an email address. Having said this, we need just as much to have alliances with people, especially those fighting land issues. We were allied to First Nation organizations and flew their flag during the ten year Siege of Dale Farm [which involved a riot police assault using Tasers in 2011] Brexit has caused us to postpone the 11th Congress. Grattan chair DT Good luck in your campaign Grattan To Whom It May Concern This is to inform you that Jason M. Croteau of m'ikmaq lejeneue family line roots is a candidate member of the IRU (International Romani Union). The IRU, which has its roots in the 1st World Romani Congress, in London in 1971, has held ten such Congresses since that date for the purpose of maintaining a collective representation on behalf of M'igmaq, wabanaki , Abeneki Nation in canada and usa and other roma communities around the globe. The 10th Congress, which took place last year in Skopje, Macedonia, adopted a program under the title Democratic Transition, which has the aim of creating a grass-roots electoral roll. It with this work that Mr Croteau is assisting. Sincerely, Grattan Puxon chair IRU Democratic Transition Commission [email protected]
