Not enough Wing Chun people talk about this these days. Everyone is so focused on hand positions and techniques and trapping etc. that they forget about proper structure and how to redirect force. This is the real high level of Wing Chun, and I believe Ip Man was amazing at this.

Thank you Grand Master! Guys its real ! but to save yourself some time focus on body structure not the techniques he can show you all the techniques and you still wouldn't be able to apply them against real resistance because you don't have body structure. Once you have it you can do whatever you like I don't care if he is fighting for his life and he's supper strong . the structure will slow him down a make him feel weak your shoulders will never burn or get worn out because you're not using muscle so you'll never get tired that's when you should try these techniques body structure first then learn the techniques this is a great man that knows good physics respect him!

This on-off technique has been rarely taught from the newer generation of Wing Chun sifu. Very fortunate that this video captured. This is the key technique that many might hear many sifus keep saying to students relax, ralax... relax and have no clue of what relax is for. The trick is to relax in the right time as Sifu Cheung demonstrated as on off then on. Hopefully, this key and hardest to master Wing Chun technique will carry on forever. If you can get the hang of it you can feel a big difference in your speed and power.

The only problem is he seems to have a problem explaining his ideas, you know, putting them into English in an explanation that we, as beginners, can understand. That seems to be a problem among Chinese teachers. The two languages are SO different, that sometimes a teacher has a hard time finding the words, or coming up with the idea he needs to describe whatever he is doing concisely and accurately.
