Slow down, people who are looking at this don't know how to sew - especially the end knot.

When you are hanging the toe, why is there 1 stitch extra ??
@matthewpeterson332922 күн бұрын
Decent job, and better than some of the hack jobs I've seen. But here is a tip... Rather than pulling the needle through the side panel stitch line, you can use the two-needle blind stitch method and run your lower needle through the welting (the folded side of the seam in the darker material) and your upper needle along the same line you chose here in the grey material. Make each stitch about 3/8" long, spaced as evenly as possible, and when you begin to cinch your stitches, the seam pulls together completely hiding your thread. When you are done, your new seam will disappear into the edge of the welting. This might take a few extra minutes, but the end result will be hard to even detect, looking brand new.

Ma'am, it would be very much worth it for you to purchase very sharp detail scissors for the trimming stage of the sole repair. The little pink handled craft scissors the Dollar Tree sells have a pretty impressive lifespan under usage rougher than this, I've found. As the self-appointed Queen of Tools For EVERY Occasion I feel that I am coming from a place of experience when I say that the jaggedness of the finished product would not be an issue whatsoever with the Right Tool. It all boils down to sharpness and ease of control of the tool in this situation. I thought I might have seen the white and red Betty Crocker kitchen scissors in the clamping scene, and if so I have to share that I have terrible luck with keeping scissors sharp and I was raised by a mother who would dole out punishment so severe to anyone who used her big orange handled sewing Fiskers for anything -especially non material items, so it's inbred how to appropriately treat scissors as tools. But no matter what I do they appear to have a shelf life and no amount of research on sharpening works for the ones in my possession. So I have a pretty extensive collection of those pink $1.25 scissors but I only have one beat up and battered broken tip red and white Betty Crocker kitchen scissors and they have been abused extensively but remain hands down THE sharpest scissors in my entire horde. I don't know if they have started making them cheaper like everything else today but I highly recommend picking those up and giving them a try for those out of the loop. But I will go all out and try everything short of my hair cutting scissors to find the right tool when doing repairs like this for resale. I know that even Buffalo Exchange would find fault with my work if I tried to sell shoes of any kind with a repair that even suggests DIY. A blade that runs or cuts like butter is all you'd need to take this from home repair to unnoticeable. Thank you for these invaluable tips!

All the fashion in the world won't trim your waistline. You're focusing on the wrong thing. Your waistline is your dateline....I'm sure you've heard that before. Look at photos of really old people, say over 95. You will not see many bloated faces. Because fat people die way sooner. So maybe make better decisions. On the positive side, most fat people have bigger bone structure and are very good looking. You will not believe the attention you will garnish after losing the weight. Pure low carb food, HIIT fitness, strength and flexibility work. It doesn't even take long if you do it near your work or at your work as many floor exercises are exhausting. And who doesn't have a floor? (i'm not selling anything or coaching anyone.) Stop leaning on fashion. It's a liar that leads people astry. A dead end. When you're slim you won't even need hardly any makeup. No more circus paint needed whenever you leave your home. A better life.

I have to be honest - at this point I've seen a lot of KZbin tutorials for diy sparkly heels. And they always come out beautiful. But yours... yours are by far the prettiest I've seen 😍 They are perfect - the sparkle, the colors, the shapes... these right here are my dream shoes.

Your kitty is a beauty 🥰. Dawn Powerwash is my jam for dishes etc and I use it to also clean the satin lining of my denim Fendi bag👍🏽👍🏽. I need to restore and polish the hardware and saw brasso used on Louie V's hardware on anothet video. Have you used it and can you share what you use on your designer bag hardware? You did a great job on your bag and the planet thanks you too 😊.

These repairs are not easy to resolve because there's no material to work with. Aside from taking your seat to a professional upholsterer, this would stop the tear from getting worse. You can use some dye that is the same color as the seats to hide the stitching a little bit more. But she did a decent job here, better than most people would be able to.
